I'd be pretty happy with either her or Booker at the small forward spot.
Same here. Maybe a slight edge to Booker because I think she has tremendous defensive potential in UConn's jump and hedge perimeter D. But I still think she'll wind up staying south.

The BY has a very good search feature what you actually said was:

"With USA basketball last year Betts was the best player on that team and a year younger than almost everyone else. It wasn't even close. She will be an all american next year. Bank on it.

Clearly your infatuation with Betts continues and just a friendly reminder that this is a UCONN recruiting thread.
We will put you down as down playing Betts going forward. You said something to the effect that Betts didn't get the most playing time in USA basketball so she wasn't even the best player on that team. We will see what happens. Maybe she isn't an all American next year because Stanford has a lot of great bigs already but she is very likely to be one at some point.

Her numbers don't really stand out - she's a 6'1" forward with an inside game........in 20 minutes she averaged 7.6 pts/ 4 rebounds per game this past season at WVU but she was Honorable Mention Big 12 twice, Academic Big12 First Team and Big 12 Sixth Man of the Year.........she could serve a role off the bench spotting Edwards for a few minutes.......
That description sounds a lot like Aubrey. Is there something we should be worried about maybe something they’re not telling us about the back injury?

I think you never know how players will recover after serious back injuries..........that said, if Aubrey is available, she is more of a quick guard/small forward who happens to be a fine defender and rebounder based on her athleticism/aggression......from what I have read Niblack is more of an undersized but effective interior presence.....

High School seasons just ended and lots of kids already playing AAU all over the country so no downtime. No wonder so many knee injuries. Keep in mind the purpose of any AAU event is to make $ for someone off the backs and knees of these kids sad very sad.

AAU is a non-profit organization.
It may have pitfalls but there are other leagues, some for-profit and others non-profit.
No one forces any player to join but it does cost money to fund a team.
If kids want a chance for a scholarship or more PT they need to learn somewhere.
