Prince, who averages 24.2 points, is also a top recruiting target. She has more than 20 Division I offers and many of the Wolves’ games have been attended by coaches from these schools:

Duke. UConn. Maryland. Oregon State. Georgia Tech. Minnesota, North Carolina. North Carolina State. Nebraska. Creighton.

...

And her game is still progress, the coach says.

“Her defense has improved, and so has her passing,” Ann Prince said. “She’s also been more of a vocal leader and has added confidence in herself and her teammates.”

Prince would get a home game at Creighton every year if she chooses a Big East program. Just sayin'! ;)

I would think Chloe Briggs will stay out there too. Somewhere close to Hollywood. ;)
Briggs. That’s the one. I knew there was one more that pops up on the board that I’ve heard is likely to stay out west.

I believe Ciera's team is scheduled to play Wednesday.
You know....UConn has some nice downtime before our next game. My bet is that the staff will
be out and about looking at targets...heck...even if Ciera is doubtful for Wednesday I wouldn't be surprised if a
UConn coach showed up to watch her play...or if not...just to show her some love.

Fingers crossed for a healthy C tomorrow night.

If JuJu and Cunningham choose USC, they will be pretty solid. Those two, Gayles coming next year, Marshall and clarice A frosh this year. 2 top 5 recruits, two top 10 recruits and a top 20. They’d be solid.
I don’t know why some of you are surprised about the Cunningham-USC interest. May have posted on past threads that she and Juju were heavily interested in USC
1) On the west coast
2) Be the face of the program
3) It was once a great program and she wants to help return it to that lofty status
1. Her intended major?
2. Possibly play with JuJu (the real deal)
3. Trojan pride. Fight on! It’s BIG in SoCal.
… Concur wholeheartedly with all aforementioned points.

USC is a juggernaut overall school, particularly on West Coast & esp SoCal: robust endowment, beautiful campus, rich athletic history incl impressive WBB roots, strong alumni network, etc.

Also, while UCLA has started to bring in big-time recruits, Cori Close has yet to establish Bruins as a national powerhouse, leaving LA open for arch rival Trojans to match & perhaps surpass. USC could do so with proposed 2023 recruiting haul.

Look at Evan Mobley on men’s side, for evidence of USC’s allure to top recruits even without recent elite program status.

New PN evaluation:

Chloe Kitts:

Kitts has really gotten good at using her length to find both standard and unconventional scoring angles, especially driving right. Using her length off the dribble downhill was a point of emphasis and one that puts defenders in a bad place because she can elevate and score in one dribble from the wing. Her confidence shooting the three is coming along too, which is going to make her that much harder to guard.

Noblesville junior Ashlynn Shade has been named the 2021-22 Gatorade Indiana Girls Basketball Player of the Year.

The award, which recognizes not only outstanding athletic excellence, but also high standards of academic achievement and exemplary character demonstrated on and off the court, distinguishes the UConn-bound guard as Indiana’s best high school girls basketball player.

...

A state champion cross country runner in middle school, Shade has volunteered locally as a youth basketball coach and counselor.

“Ashlynn can hurt you from the inside-out, which makes her very tough to guard,” Carmel coach Erin Trimpe said. “She finds ways to get to the rim, elevate over the defense and she can score at any level of the court.”

Shade has maintained a weighted 3.94 GPA in the classroom and will begin her senior year of high school this fall.

I’ve seen Juju Watkins twice now. She’s the real deal!! She will be huge get for whatever program she commits to. She’ll go to a P5 program. She shows up in big games. She‘s the team’s leading score. Smart player with a smooth jumper.

Juju even has a number of endorsement deals already if I remember correctly. Her social media following is way up there.
