UConncat: Some good news on Ciera...thanks for that info.
Apparently her next game isn't until mid-week...hope she can play at 100%.

Some states like MD have mercy rules. In MD it’s a running clock in the 2nd half in blowouts.
What's considered a blowout and do they put the clock back to normal if a team makes a comeback? Is there a magic number a lead must be at for them to change the clock?

Of course we have our 'garden' of season 2021-2022 to tend to.
Then...some eyes on the 'garden' of season 2022-2023
How about the 'guard garden' of season 2023-2024?

Seniors: Paige/Nika
Juniors: Azzi/Caroline
Sophs: none...as of now.
Frosh: KK and Ashlynn

KK and Ashlynn have one year with the opportunity to be in the rotation with Paige and Nika.
Their soph year....maybe an opportunity to start...move Caroline on occasion to the 3 spot.

If point KK has some trouble in a possession....just throw it to Azzi and yell 'shoot'.

2 year overlap with Azzi and Caroline for KK and Ashlyn.
3 year overlap with Ayanna and Ice...I see Ayanna being a real force especially in defensive presses.

2023: need a couple more along with the 2 guards already with verbals.

Their frosh year: best backcourt in the land...and deepest backcourt to boot.

35 points, and yes if the team ”closes” the gap to 34 the regular timing rules are back

K K Arnold's season ended today and she had the worst game I've seen from her. Really nothing went right.

22 points (7-26 FG, 7-10 FT), 4 assists, 4 rebounds, 5 steals

Top Centers in California:

Breya Cunningham – La Jolla Country Day – JR.

As a freshman, Cunningham was thrust right into the spotlight, starring on the top-ranked team in the country. She averaged 17.3 points, 11.8 rebounds, and 3.3 blocks per game that season for the CIF Southern Region Open Division champion. This season, the 5-star post has led the Torreys to their second San Diego Section Open Division title in three years averaging career-highs of 18.2 PPG and 64% FG.

Ice Brady – Cathedral Catholic – SR.

A 5-star UConn commit, Brady finishes her high school career as a two-time CIFSDS Open Division champion and Player of the Year, a McDonald's All-American, and a member of the 2,000 points club. She averaged 18.5 points, 12.4 rebounds, and 2.1 blocks per game over her four years at Cathedral on 52% shooting and 55% EFG, including career-highs of 20.7 PPG, 3.3 APG, and 1.5 SPG as a senior. While Brady, who's upwards of 6-3, has played exclusively center throughout her career, she could potentially play more PF one day at the highest levels.

Someone mentioned that C was going to be in Ct this weekend. Can anyone confirm that? Any recruits at the Big East Tourney?

So Ciera Toomey is in Connecticut right now? Maybe she makes another trip to uconn.
Let’s hope so. Has anyone seen her? Is she attending the tournament?

Plus, she has to stick around to get the MRI on her knee. They don't think it is bad, but the opinions of her mom, coach, and herself are as accurate as all of us. I pray for her, and if she is layed up for a while she can relax and tweet her commitment to UConn.

Anyone know if this full game streamed anywhere? Looked like a good one.
