I'm not sure they're in the top eight. Why would he leave Yale to try to rebuild the 8th best program in the Big East?

That A10 final environment is fire. I love the energy in that building in DC.Assuming VCU is in already....George Mason looking to steal a bid...down 1 with 2 mins to go
Ref whiffed on what should've been a flagrant given how the VCU defender bear-hugged the GMU player going up for a shot. That A10 final environment is fire. I love the energy in that building in DC.
Oh shoot. I recorded the last 2 minutes of game time of that game because I was watching the ending of Florida+Tennessee. I will have to check that out now.Ref whiffed on what should've been a flagrant given how the VCU defender bear-hugged the GMU player going up for a shot.
If these Sunday championship games do not play a role for the selection committee, why does the B10 continue to do have its championship game on Sunday ? Is the reason due to TV contracts ?Ahhh Big 10 hoops.... championship game, halftime... 23-21.
Both teams shooting under 30%.
The B1G championshp doesn't play much of role in potentially screwing things up. They're not the problem as the two teams in that game are always already firmly in the field, and the committee has ample time to make any minor adjustments if there's an upset. It's the American and A-10 finals that should be moved to Saturday. Having to account to two bubble busters in contingency brackets means at least four different potential brackets need to be created prior to Sunday, and given travel considerations (regions), the odds for under or over seeding become much larger in those alternative brackets. If these Sunday championship games do not play a role for the selection committee, why does the B10 continue to do have its championship game on Sunday ? It's pretty silly. All of the brackets are already done and have been done for a few days. Last year the East region had UConn (#1 overall seed), Iowa St (B12 champs), Illinois (B10 champs), and Auburn (SEC champs). Only reason I can think of on how that is possible is that the brackets were done before the conference tournaments ended. Let’s take a look at Florida’s roster build to see how they put this team together.
Clayton - Senior, 2nd year transfer out of Iona (Pitino kid)
Richard - Senior, 3rd year Belmont transfer
Martin - RS Senior, 1st year FAU transfer
Chinyelu - HS recruited Soph out of NBA academy/Nigeria
Condon - international recruited Soph out of Australia
Script here is go get your old proven guards in the portal, grow up your bigs.
Not crowning anything - I’m observing how a roster was built of a top 2-3 team this year to see what can be construed. No one said we have to copy, but it’s worth seeing what can be learned.Dude—can we pump the breaks a bit?
We need to be copying Florida now as a program in terms of roster construction?
Let’s have them win something before we crown them.
Xavier, yeah they must have been s.h i. t. ting bricks yesterday when Memphis and Tulane went the distance.Dain Dainja just went coast to coast for a 1v2 fast break layup so I'm gonna go ahead and say this one is over
No bid stealers today. Xavier fans must be happy with that one. Fingers crossed!
He was the best player on their team in Maui. If Memphis doesn't have him, they are not going far, and it doesn't look like they will have him according to this article. He was in a walking boot.Great job by Penny this year, I thought when he fired his staff on the cusp of the season that he was a dead man walking and he ended up having his best year. If Hunter is healthy for the tourney he has a team that can do some damage.

You don’t want to wait to see if they win it?They've been my pick all season.
I think Florida should be the #1 overall seed this year. Reasonable minds can disagree with me, but if there is a conversation about the #1 overall seed this year, that conversation has to include Florida among the other teams like Duke, Auburn, Tennessee, etc.You don’t want to wait to see if they win it?
