Why dunk? Just let go of the ball and let it go in. Or a lay up. Yeah I know easy to say that now. Still that was bizarre as hell.

Players are coached to make quick moves at that point in the game. The player just forgot his coaching and went for the dunk.

Once again we're left alone to maintain whatever pride exists in our conference

On to Kentucky my dear boy!

Legit felt awful. Correct call 100% but i mean i think everyone agrees both teams deserved another 5 mins

I was falling asleep on the couch. UNI jolted me awake and now I'm not gonna be able to fall asleep...

I get it, no moral victories. Still Temple and Cincy showed that they are as much NCAA tournament quality teams as the 5-11 seeds from P5 conferences. Nothing new for UConn here anyway. Bailed out the super power Big East from bad showings in the tournament more times than I can count why not keep doing it in this mess of a conference..

Temple had incredible luck in close games all season (only reason they even got in). Kind of poetic that it ended like that.

Note: We've had bad luck all year and it will likely continue tonight.
Sadly right. No reverse mojo here.

So this is what hell feels like.
Truly sorry. Picked you guys to make it to the Final Four, but it wasn't meant to be.

I hate to be the who picks your hopes up, but I really feel like Caupain has one magical run in him before he graduates. Got to be next year, and maybe losing Ellis is a blessing in disguise.

Sorry man, that sucked. You guys are really tough and didn't deserve to lose like that in two straight games, just brutal.

It was @kobe who said - half-jokingly - way back in December or January that he didn't know how Cincinnati's season would end other than that it would be a two point loss.

I'm at a loss for words.

Both Cincy and Temple ended their season on two missed foul calls too. Just brutal.

As usual, it is up to UConn to carry the conference. Been there, done that. Let's keep it going.

2014
Cincy 0-1
Tulsa* 0-1
Memphis 1-1

2015
Cincy 1-1
SMU 0-1

2016
Cincy 0-1
Temple 0-1
Tulsa 0-1

Combined record 2-8
UConn 7-0

*Tulsa was in conference USA in 2014
**UL 2014 not included as they are gone

In terms of credits other current AAC teams have earned 9 credits for the conference, UConn has earned 7 (5 in 2014, 2 so far in 2016). Add that to lists of why UConn is more valuable to a power conference.

I did say that and I saw it coming all the way. Something was off with this team starting with the game against Butler in December. It seemed like everything that could go wrong, did all the way down to Clark badly hurting his ankle at the very end of practice the day before the AAC Tournament.

What the hell was up with caupain ? Looked like a different player than the aac tourney , looked injured honestly

I wonder what could be worse. To be a Pitt fan or a Cincinnati fan.
Obviously Cincy. They have to suffer with being tormented by the Steelers, and their obnoxious fan base.
