Good game so far. I dislike watching Devincenzo immensely but the kid has confidence for days. He is going to be an absolute killer his Sr. year as I don't think he will be good enough to ever enter early.

Whenever I watch Gillespie he looks like a fish out of water. Surprising to see him get burn when a guy like Jermaine Samuels can't. Different positions I know, but still.

Every year since 2009 it seems. Seems the quality has gone down through the sport across the board

In hate there is one game at a time until 5:30.

I also hate that they choose least competitive games for the early windows.

Nova is housing Bama. Totally noncompetitive. You're right though--why not play the closest seeded game earlier on as opposed to at like 10 PM?

Any team that depends as much on outside shooting as Villanova is vulnerable to a cold shooting game, but it doesn't look like it will happen today.

I love the way Nova plays, great ball movement on offense to get open looks and they have 4+ guys that shoot over 40% from 3

Was thinking the same thing. Seems like these early stand-alone games are always duds. At least put a 2nd game in that window.

Florida falls into the same category. Even more so. They have snipers though.

Agree. All 3's are not created equal, and while I think Villanova is too dependent on 3's, they do get a lot of good looks, and take a lot of high percentage shots. I rarely feel like Villanova is forcing it.

There are some geographic challenges with who plays when but this is now dead from halftime of game 1 through the tip of game 2.

An hour + of nothing.

But games that will end at 12:30 eastern later.

The ratings must support it because I guess asleep counts the same as awake.

Don’t care how many wins against top 25 if you have 15 losses its too many and screams of inconsistency. Bama didn’t belong there but just like Oklahoma had a player to market.

I remember uconn had a 17-14 season years back, maybe 2010 after the final four season. They beat Texas and nova when they were number one in the country as well as beating LSU, number 8 west Virginia and playing number 4 Kentucky and 12 gtown very close. Similar to bama in that both teams had amazing games but were too inconsistent, similar records too. I honestly did not think uconn deserved a bid that year and bama did not this year either.
