That's a big point gap between Stanford and Louisville. Consensus Top 4 now? At least by the media?
I think the recent losses have separated the top four from the next four and the following four (MD at 8 is a wide separation as well from #9 UCLA. Voters seem to have settled on the #1 seeds and the #2 seeds, and three of the four #3 seeds which leads to those large point breaks - within those groups there is a little variation but they have each separated from the following teams.
Let's see...TAMU only gets 2 first place votes... Depaul is still ranked

Look at the also getting votes group and find someone clearly better than Depaul at 25! Look at the drop in points between # 24 and # 25 - everyone seems to have a hard time finding a 25th to rank 89 points between 24 and 25 is the largest point game and 9 points between Depaul and #26 FGC.

I know on my BY Top 25 ballot, I had three teams (Marquette, Stephen F. Austin and Central Florida) with strong consideration for the #25 position, and I had to spend a lot of time reviewing the resume for each of those teams before settling on Marquette for #25 this week.

I haven't had Depaul ranked on my last three BY Top 25 ballots.

big gap between 24 & 25, which suggests voters are having a hard time finding a 25th team as well

I would have ranked Marquette over Depaul

FGCU, Marquette, Stephen F Austin, and Oregon State I'd put in the 25th spot over DePaul. I'm surprised they're still there.

Also think Maryland should be ranked #5 ahead of SC/Louisville/Baylor. They have the best wins out of those 3 teams with the least egregious losses besides maybe SC, but SC has 4 losses.

Why is everyone so high on FGCU? They haven't beaten anyone of note and got blown out by Missouri State and lost to Arkansas in their only games against ranked teams.

Still no love for Oregon State? They are definitely a sleeper team going in to the Pac tourney, as is Arkansas in the SEC.

I'd give Texas A&M the #1 spot. Two more wins with the same number of losses as UConn, plus they play in a way tougher league.

Whoever is ranked #25 usually has a pretty flawed resume. Their schedule is trash but they are 21-2 and nearly beat Arkansas. Id put Oregon State in over them but I think they deserve a spot ahead of Depaul.

Not sure why anyone is so high on Marquette - the only ranked teams they have played are Uconn and DePaul and they split with DePaul, and bad losses to Milwaukee and Seton Hall. DePaul meanwhile played TA&M to a two point loss, lost to Louisville and beat Kentucky, and their only bad loss was to Creighton

OSU is starting to click with two very good wins this past week against UCLA and Oregon to go against their bad losses to Utah and 2 to WSU - until this week they had no good wins and at 7/6 in league and 9/6 overall it hasn't been an impressive season - their OOC even before the canceled games was a joke.

Well DePaul is certainly not making a case for themselves today. Locked in a battle late in Q3 w/ 2-16 Butler. Yikes. All tied up at the moment.

WSU is not a bad loss this season. Fading late, but they've been competitive all year. They also beat UCLA and Arizona.

The history of the AP poll shows that the team ranked #1 stays #1 until they lose. All they look at is who wins and who loses, and that is the only criteria. I think most of them don't even watch the games, only the scores every morning.

What has happened to DePaul, do they have a key player injured or did they have a break due to COVID? They just aren't the same as they were a month ago.

Oh boy DePaul. They lost to Butler. Pick any of the "others receiving votes" and put them at #25 ahead of DePaul now.
Or maybe Butler needs to be in the top 25!

Both of those losses were without Kierstan Bell -- who, miraculously, didn't get her waiver until the morning after the Arkansas game.

Speaking of which, FGCU led a full-strength Arkansas for most of the game even without their all-everything player.
