March 19 non-UConn games thread

Buffalo having itself a heck of a tournament, only down 2 to FSU with about 4minutes left in the first half.
 
Never know which FSU you are going to get. If Buffalo wins, pretty good deal playing in Albany
 
Buffalo up 9 at halftime and Central Michigan has grabbed a 2 point lead in Q2. Cinderella isn't dead yet. I think it is Plebe who keeps pointing out how good those MAC teams are. Good call!
 
Duke up 23-12 over Georgia with 5 minutes left in 2nd Q. SEC offense particularly putrid.

Wow! Central Michigan up 13 now against Ohio State.
 
Duke held Georgia to just 2 points in the 2nd quarter and has a 21-point lead at the half.
 
Duke is looking very good. tOSU looks in trouble with a Capital T-Trouble. FSU Ned’s to future it out
 
Georgia justifying their 4 seed...not! This is why I was hoping Georgia would win, because they’re awful.

LOL @ SEC. Too many of their teams were hosting. Collectively underachieving, as they do most years. Mississippi St. is legit, beyond that, meh.
 
Kelsey Mitchell 3-13 w/ 7 points in first half. Ouch. Maybe last game of her career. Isn't going to pass Jackie Stile for #2 at this rate. As predicted several weeks ago will be well short of Plum's record.

Just because a team loses doesn't mean they didn't deserve their seed.
Should USF have not been a 6 seed?
Whose resume wouldve warranted a 4 seed instead of GA?

I'm so glad somebody's paying attention :)

When I decided to watch the MAC championship game, I did not expect to be so impressed. I am not easily impressed. I was impressed.

USF the team who was going to make big noise in this tournament?

UGA is a defensive team that doesn’t really have the scorers to deal with a like minded opponent.

It’s easy to believe no one is any gold but in fact these teams did have a season of work to get where they are.
 
We knew tOSU was a flawed team so not much of a surprise but at home? Buffalo is a huge surprise with this. @Plebe should Ben feeling really good as he has stated this for a while. I know the Duke fandom may have issue with JPM but she’s doing a good job tonigh.

Beat NC A&T by 11 and Virginia by 10. Pending Texas' game tonight, by FAR the least impressive performance of the #2 seeds in the 1st/2nd rounds. Were you excited by how they played?

But nobody’s made any claims that the AAC is a great conference, unlike some posters here who keep touting the SEC. The SEC was pretty obviously overrated. The tournament results speak for themselves.
 
My goodness...Duke just blowing Georgia right off the map on the Bulldogs' home floor. 39-14 now.
 
Central Michigan over LSU 1st round (I realize LSU was missing a key player)
FGCU over Missouri 1st round
Oregon St. over Tennessee 2nd round
Duke clobbering Georgia 2nd round

Texas A&M w/ an impressive comeback vs. DePaul. South Carolina did what they were supposed to, in not very inspiring manner. Mississippi St. still to play 2nd round, shouldn't have too much trouble but you never know.

There's no possible way to spin this, SEC underachieved collectively.

Look at the CMU-tOSU score--41-25. Wow! I'm bashing the SEC, but the Big 10 isn't doing much either.
