Lame argument that ignores all the other realities of the situation. Yes Marc, schools should take kids they dont want and stuff them on the bench never to see the field. Next you will want to legislate playing time.

I think they should investigate his "alleged" journalism.
There is definitely a huge difference between a journalist and a "contributor." You'd think a guy who is a tenured professor and runs his own law firm would have more to do than bash Randy Edsall. He literally wrote the same article twice in three days with different titles...shame on Forbes for even giving him the space to write drivel that's nothing but allegations and "media sources" nonsense, knowing full well that the school can't respond to any of it until after NSD. It's irresponsible, sophomoric defamation, and nothing more.

Number one rule of litigation is take down the weakest credible member in the pack to make your case. This sustained assault would never make it out of the trenches if directed at the SEC or B1G because it would be an attack on the religious institution of football itself. This is agenda driven.

Easy....
What?

am·bu·lance chas·er
ˈambyələns ˈCHāsər/

noun
NORTH AMERICANderogatory
  1. a lawyer who specializes in bringing cases seeking damages for personal injury.
Who is to say the personal injury has to be physical?

The only amendment I would make to the above definition is adding the the word," frivolous."

Yes and his agenda is building a players union and who should be president of that union, himself of course!

The "sports lawyer" tool is at it again. As if his article yesterday wasn't enough, let's beat this dead horse down a bit more.
Tenured law professor spewing out of all sides of Edelman's mouth perhaps, but his website clearly conveys he is attempting to create publicity for his anti-trust/sports management consulting business. It's rubbish to think the guy cares about any more than trying to drum up some business, but no has to like his spew, repetitive articles in too short a timespan for maximum exposure, conflicted legalese, etc. Wankuh!

Demanding an immediate investigation! Since this player was recruited by the former coach this is not a groundbreaking development. Involving the NCAA would mean we are co-defendents along with other schools that have had the same thing occur. This guy needs a slap.

"UConn acts in accordance with NCAA rules on scholarships. Let's punish them."

WTF?

In the meantime other athletes scholly offers have been pulled. Where's the outrage toward them?

These guys are desperate for relevancy...

What about Lane Kiffin? Wtf! This happens all the damn time. I don't get these people. UConn football has been down for years, and now that there's a lot of excitement they try to shut it down with this nonsense.

Edelman, the Michigan Law Grad is either unequivocally biased when it comes to his outrage, or he is woefully uninformed on this topic. Either conclusion questions both Edelman's credibility and his motivations, and the resulting stench has permeated the pages of Forbes, both paper and digital.
