Hell yeah.
Expect us to go after a portal big next.
EDIT: Shouts to the legend Dick Weiss who had it first.
Next year's team won't suffer from the same lack of dynamic ball handlers this year's team did. Love it.
YesDid Singare already announce yet that he has entered the transfer portal?
Not the Irish pronunciation? Mal-uh-kye?It's Mah-luh-kye
The Samson dunk fest was partially made possible by having a PG who was an offensive threat. Most of this year the opposing five would just play drop coverage because the D knew Hassan was not a shooter. Hopefully with a bigger and more viable offensive threat at PG we can get a pick n roll game back.UConn did well with assists last year but not as good as previous year. We also seemed to have less easy slams set up, so these 2 additions should make that difference, or not because we don’t have Samson?
The other part of the equation was having guards who could easily get the ball over their defender and near the rim. Diarra (and he wasn't the only one) really struggled with entering the ball into the post at times let alone driving into the chest of their defender and finding a way to get a pass off in traffic. The Samson dunk fest was partially made possible by having a PG who was an offensive threat. Diarra was a totally different player after the injury and less aggressive. He was making some great drives before the injury and had no issues going into the shot blocker. After the injury he was very selective with his drives and too conservative with his passing. The other part of the equation was having guards who could easily get the ball over their defender and near the rim. You are heartless. Poor Pinky had to go to the hospital.I don't remember many details - way too long ago since I saw it. I just remember the "Malachi Crunch" phrase from that episode.
Yes, on March 31st.Did Singare already announce yet that he has entered the transfer portal?
That’s right! Pinky got stuck in the Malachi Crunch in order to save Fonzie, I believe. That was one of those special two-part episodes and that was the cliffhanger. Before they jumped the shark. Malachi is gonna need a crunch brother this year. Silas? Solo? Big Furph?? Next season can’t come fast enough. You are heartless. Poor Pinky had to go to the hospital.
Glad I’m not the only one whose brain immediately went to this. I always found the movie poster/video tape box incredibly creepy when I was a youngster.Stephen King’s Children of the Corn was one of the first horror movies I saw as a pre-teen. I can still hear that name.

That this guy is a three year D1 starter with almost 800 career points, a nearly 3-1 ast/to ratio, a 38% career 3pt shooter, and has actually played and played well? Nowell wasn’t bad bc he was short, he was bad b/c he wasn’t good enough to contribute.Same height and about the same weight as Nowell. I thought that was one of the knocks on Nowell. What am I missing?
The knock on Nowell was wasn’t that he was small, it’s that he turned out to not be ready (or maybe just not good enough) for a high major. Smith is small, but has a track record of success as a college player. We’ll have more size in the backcourt with Demary, making Smith’s lack of size less of a concern.Same height and about the same weight as Nowell. I thought that was one of the knocks on Nowell. It's incredible that this had to be stated, like all basketball players can be reduced to their height/weight statistics. That this guy is a three year D1 starter with almost 800 career points, a nearly 3-1 ast/to ratio, a 38% career 3pt shooter, and has actually played and played well? Is this really a name some people don’t know how to pronounce?
