We’ll have one of the best backcourts in the country. If AK comes back we’ll have one of the best front courts too.

Palpable Buzz.
Keep adding pieces and make it so AK can't NOT come back and go for a third.

Hold up, both of are new guards are juniors?!?!? That makes this haul even better!!!!!

Smith will be entering the 2025-2026 season as a RS Senior, this is his last year of eligibility.
Unless the make the 5th year eligibility thing permanent...

No, Malachi is a Sr. this upcoming year. He redshirted his Jr. year and has played 3 other years. He has 1 year left. He was a RS Jr. this past year.

Ok. Still a tremendous pick up. The On3 profile confused me.

This is really nice depth and provides even more roster flexibility. We really lacked roster flexibility last year and it seems very clear that Dan didn't want a repeat of that. We can now play Silas at SF if needed, at least defensively. Lots of mix and match parts plus we have players even if none of the freshman carve out a major role.

Who mentions that? I have only seen that he is plus defender for his size.
Of course time will reveal but he sat out all but one game the year before. Players all seem to get better the 2nd year after a season ending injury. I thinking why wouldn't that be the case with Smith?

He should be healthier than Diarra was this past year for us so that is a big improvement. Loved Diarra but it sucked he couldn’t of have had a healthy Sr. year.

Like our backcourt. Demary, Ball, Mullins (BEFOY 3 peat) and Smith. Maybe a little Ross if he improves over the summer. That is all set.

Like our Center situation, but all predicated on Reed being able to give us 25-27 minutes a game. Reibe may surprise us I can see him at the top on offense and teams will have to guard us differently because he can shoot he could really make it more difficult to defend our sets. Remember they are euro centric and most of the big guys there can shoot. Also 250 is heavier than I thought now he needs to turn some of that fat to muscle and stay in the 245-250 area. I think he certainly has the ability to give us 15 productive minutes.

I am not even going to talk about the forwards. Any attempt to do so may be censored as until we know more there is no point. Other than to say I still think a 6’9” defender and rebounder with some athleticism at the PF would be nice. Just need rebounding and defense I think we have enough scorers.
