You talk like UConn has a "habit" of losing because they repeat the same errors again and again and again.
Let's revisit recent history, shall we?
Since the start of the 2006 season through last night, UConn is a staggering 190-9. They lost TWO games last year, none in the 2009-10 and 2008-09 seasons, TWO games in 2007-08 season and FOUR in 2006-07.
When you make so few "mistakes", I am not sure they can be classified as mistakes. Seems to me he has far more success in high pressure games than failures. You don't accummulate such a staggering record without doing an awful lot right the vast majority of the time.
Geno has high expectations of his team and himself, certainly. But, even he doesn't realistically expect to win every game. It just doesn't happen. He is human, he will make mistakes, as will we all. I'm not sure why we have to point the finger and place blame for any loss, beyond we got beat by the better team on that particular night.
I believe Geno's mantra is: Pursue Perfection, Achieve Excellence. Not Pursue Perfection, Nothing Else Is Good Enough.
