Mike Rurtherford had a few more details on Luke Murray's firing on the Titus and Tate podcast. Mostly as we guessed. It was given as context for Dino Gaudio's extortion attempt, but he says that it was pressure from above due to fan anger that forced Chris Mack to offer up a couple of patsies. Word leaked to the assistants that 2 of them were on the axe before Mack talked to them. Gaudio didn't think he'd be 1 of the 2 since he's known Mack for 30 years, but then he did find out it would be him before his meeting. So then he lost his mind and unloaded on Mack. Luke was upset as well, but handled it better and clearly had more/better options than Dino.
