The biggest difference i would say is that Private Universities can succeed in the A.C.C, whereas smaller state schools seem to perpetually struggle in the Big10.

No disagreement there. They're ranked 8th in enrollment out of 18 schools. The true outliers are Oregon, Michigan and USC with their money trails.
