Luke Murray and BC?

Sorry, after next Monday, LM is dead and buried.
I think he made a mistake in this, BBall will never be the priority there, and the athletic administration is inept, to be kind.
Wishing them continued irrelevance.
Wrong way to look at it. I will always support Luke Murray and we all should. I wish him nothing but success at BC. And after several years of success, I hope he leaves -- ideally to come back home to UConn -- and that BC promptly goes back to irrelevance after his exit.

.-.
I was wondering how they do the preparation for Saturday. Practice hard without getting anyone injured. Second team players simulating Illinois? Wondering.

Luke is "gone". Gonna give UConn everything he can for the next week or so. Two more games. Put yourself in his shoes now that his decision is made. Resume building job. Stepping stone to a bigger Program like UConn post-Hurley More money. Build your own Program. And last but not least. Multiple ACC away games close to Dad's place in Sullivan Island, SC. He's walking out the door wearing his Husky "briefs".

Perhaps this is part of an olive branch with the ACC to say, we're ready for you.

If there was really 19M people watching the UConn Duke game it better be more like "We're sorry, pretty pretty pretty please?"

Now America knows, if you watch UConn, you may actually get to see a coach headbutt a ref soon. Ratings through the roof!

This can be perfect. We use BC like our JV developmental program. Luke recruits under the radar high school and foreign players, develops them for a year or two teaching them the intricacies of the complex UConn offense, and then once they are ready to contribute at a high major level they transfer to UConn. Win/win for all of us.😉

FWIW- Luke said in his BC presser that he was certainly aware of the relationship history between the two schools and that he was already working on trying to mend some fences. Seemed sincere in his comments to make that happen sooner rather than later.

.-.
A couple of winning seasons, and like the Providence coaching position has become, he will be on to bigger things. This is merely a steppingstone.

This is disgusting. Of all the schools had to be this one
I agree, and when I heard how my friend was treated at BC, I was even more disgusted. My hate for that place goes beyond sports. This friend was getting their master's there, and they have some physical limitations on top of some serious medical issues, and BC did not accommodate them AT ALL. They were in a hospital bed at one point, barely able to move or function, and all the BC admin could do/say was "better get to class" and "if you miss any more classes, you are out of the program." Like, my friend is amazing, a very hard worker, and did not plan serious medical issues; obviously, that was beyond their control. But BC could not care less.

There are some very serious issues with accessibility and student accommodations at BC, and a lack of support from many of the higher-ups, including a refusal to offer remote lessons. No flexibility, and I am pretty sure that's against the ADA. My friend has been s*** on most of their life, bullied and whatnot, but they are fighters and got their master's by some miracle, all things considered with the health, but it pisses me off a lot how they were treated while there. Absolute disgrace.

I hope Luke has a season just good enough to get him hired away in season 1, and leave them in their rightful place at the bottom of the ACC upon his hopeful departure.
