Luke Murray and BC?

Keep your eyes peeled next year. I bet we will still see Bill at UConn games (just wearing a disguise of some sort). Happy for his son, yes. But he has gotten used to a certain level of team these last few years. No way he will want to sit thru BC basketball.

The duke Laetner team only won because Tate George tried to grab a steal with a few seconds left rather than just batting the ball into the backcourt and then Laetner made. a buzzer beater. Duke was incredibly lucky to win that game.

Duke hasn’t been the same since Coach K retired. Their last championship last 12 years ago, only 2 final fours in last 10 years.

The 2024 UConn was the most dominant team in the last 60 years.

This year’s Duke team barley beat Sienna and barely beat St Johns.

You all laughed, but guess who was at the game last night (hint, it was Cam). Why else would he be there if he wasn’t next up to take over for Luke?

Murray does what Holtman did at DePaul and he will be recognized as a genius. It’s funny that BC was a serious player with serious head coaches from about the mid-60s until the early 2000s. Bob Cousy, Chuck Daley, tom Davis, Gary Williams, Jim O’Bien. Went to Sweet 16s and the Elite 8. But yeah, basketball is at best the #3 priority with little chance it moves higher on the list.

Nice timing for them - very weird seeing him go to a program that advocates against us. Is this a strategic ploy where Murray convinces BC brass to vote us into the ACC?

A Calhoun regime kid in Taliek, leaving Pitino to come to Storrs doesn't sound right.

I wonder if Bill shows up for at least one Uconn game next year.
