Bingo. Literally a last-minute crossing of the t’s/dotting the i’s, as the posting is required for state employee positions. This is a good sign as usually these things get posted once they have the candidate they want. Look at Nardi last year.
Yup. Looks like our guy will be announced on 4/20This is a good sign as usually these things get posted once they have the candidate they want. Look at Nardi last year.

Ya I think it's like if it were to rain on your wedding day...don't ya think?

So, maybe I'd take a break from teaching to take a job as an assistant for UConn, earning half of Murray's 750k salary, which is a "modest" raise from my teaching salary and my 3k basketball stipend last trimester.
We'll see. Maybe.
I'm already imagining the "what ifs": we thankfully purchased our house in Norwalk in 2016, prior before the Covid burst in 2021 so it's gotten to the point where I feel like a Regular Joe surrounded by rich NYC transplants.
We'd keep the house, but rent it out for an absurd monthly rate and then with the 375k salary, we'd live somewhere nice near campus, but modest, I'd bankroll an art studio for my wife and save most of our money for a very comfortable retirement.
Sign me up!
Aww don't burst my balloon. I was in the middle of working on my resume for this job. This is a good sign as usually these things get posted once they have the candidate they want. Look at Nardi last year.
and they can craft the job description so it fits the candidate they want to a tee.
