She's an outstanding shooter and had a great game against Georgetown. Against UConn and Kelly Faris, not so much.

I love Kelly and I do believe she's vastly underrated. KML is my player of the season so far, though. IMO, she and Kelly should share the honors for last week.

Maggie is impressive. She doesn't need much room to shoot and it's amazing how quickly she gets her shots off. She's also an energizer bunny on offense while attempting to get open. Kelly and the Uconn guards' ability to switch on defense did a great job keeping her under wraps, but she still managed 15 points. Also, she is excellent at acrobatically jumping on and off the scorer's table when called upon to do so.

Maggie Lucas v. Kelly Faris and the Huskies - 5 of 12 field goals...3 of 6 treys...2 of 2 free throws...15 points in a loss (Maggie was 2 of 3 field goals...1 of 1 trey's after the last official time out against subs). That means she was 3 of 9 field goal shooting (33% ) and 2 of 5 on treys (40%).
Maggie shot 26 times versus Georgetown and she gets off 13 shots versus UCONN and only 10 versus Faris. Kelly doesn't just bother shots...she makes them next to impossible...
