I may have mentioned a chemistry issue when everyone anointed the NCs when they add Hailey Van Lith and Morrow. This team is a train wreck and will likely get worse before it implodes. Even the players parents are fighting.

Except morrow and Hailey Van Lith have nothing to do with the drama. You have Reese getting into altercations With Flaujae and poole with their parents being cut throat on IG. We gotta stop lumping Hailey Van Lith and morrow into things that they didn’t cause. I don’t think it’s fair to them

If Reece is out for a while, I actually think that'll benefit team chemistry. I always thought their issue was "team fit" for the transfers. Hailey Van Lith is transitioning to PG and Morrow brings a similar skill set to Reece. With Reece out, I think Morrow will flourish and I think the players will start finding their roles and providing a better product on the floor. Reece's height will be missed but that's about it IMO.

Don't get me started on UNC and their little academic fraud scheme.
 
I knew Reese didn't have a GPA over 2.0 (needs 1.8 to be eligible) since she really wasn't in the mix for any of the POA last season & that was one of the requirements. This is all on Kim Mulkey, she built this roster, let her figure it out LOL.
 
It is very puzzling to me why Kim did not do anything last season to “reign in” Reese. Some of the things Reese did on the court were extremely disrespectful to opponents. You just did not see this sort of thing with any of Kim’s Baylor teams and there were big personalities on some of those teams. I do think Kim is partially responsible for this mess since she did nothing last season and let things get out of control.

They are taking the spotlight away from the Princess so they have a lot to do with the drama. Not there fault mind you but it is what it is.

Very good point. I mentioned Reese's actions and attitude a few times last year and many didn't like it. I do, however, believe this is a very big problem, and give Mulkey props for her "attitude adjustment" strategy!

I don't think there is any question about that. She is talented, but definitely classless!

By the way, Angel didn't even attend yesterday's game against Southeastern Louisiana?

I have no doubt she will. Kim is a great coach and an even better recruiter ... or maybe it's the other way around? :) With or without Reese, Kim will have this team ready for March.

Oh, I hadn't read that. If she is, it will have been deserved. Reese has a terrible attitude that has gotten worse with all the undeserved media attention. Do you by chance have a source?

I know her as well as any women's basketball fan knows a player who is constantly being interviewed and mouthing off in disrespectful ways. If you're not familiar with that perhaps you need to pay more attention?

So what's your point???
 
I'm fascinated to see how this works out. Kim doesn't strike me as the type of coach who would let a player rule the roost, no matter how talented. I remember when Reese was recruited, "some" said she was "uncoachable" - meaning she would do what she wanted. I have no inside scoop and don't pretend to know what Angel is thinking, but I am going to enjoy watching how this unfolds!!

When I was watching Azzi et al. about 4 years ago, some local DMV guys in the know told me that Angel would not last 4 years with Brenda. They called her "uncoachable." She left Maryland and is now having difficulties at LSU. I get the impression that Bayou Barbie was more interested in her celebrity status than in improving her game.

I think that is fairly obvious. It’s been reflected in her play from this summer and so far this year.

Well mulkey can only do so much to get her back down to earth but if she doesn’t settle back down any chance at a professional career is likely going down the tubes. She needs to ‘commit’ to basketball if she truly wants to get better. Kim may have made a massive mistake to allow Reese to go on tour all summer granted I know she wanted Reese to get those opportunities but it seems to come to the expense of her basketball career and likely her ego/attitude. The cat is out the bag, it’s up to Reese to decide what she really wants now.
