If the recruits flew in Friday, she had FaceTime with them Friday night and all day Saturday. On Sunday, they could have turned them over to financial and academic advisors.

But yeah, it doesn’t seem ideal.

I'm guessing it was all worked out in advance. Since she had three Top 15 recruits in town, you would think there was all-together time, time with each recruit separately, and time with recruit and their family.

Not sure why she was at an NFL game on Sunday that started at 12 PM Central. She would have had to flown out of Baton Rouge late Saturday night (LSU football game was at night) or super early on Sunday morning. During a normal recruiting weekend, most coaching staffs have breakfast/brunch with their visitors on Sunday mornings, and say their goody-byes later that day.

I can understand why she would want to visit a former player in Angel Reese. But, considering Reese announced she was out for the season with an injury, it's not like Mulkey was gonna watch her play Sunday in Chicago. I would think she could visit her just about any other time which wouldn't conflict with her hosting three national recruits.

Considering the timing of this post and when the Bourrage announcement came out, one would assume the poster is hinting more news is coming. But who really knows anymore?

Not that you can take much out of exhibition but one thing is certain, guard depth/speed and quickness is night and day compared to last years team.

Sheppard was a steal in my opinion, and will be a good one for the tigers and freshmen Jada Richard (who received non stop praise all fall) looked the part, will be fun to see her grow. I remember Jada going head to head with mikaylah Williams out of HS, didnt play on one of those EYBL teams so never got national recognition.

Jersey its hard to tell right now, she did fine although you can tell she was away from the game for about a year so she had some rust but she had some nice moments.

Elephant in the room is ADR is a major concern although she just got cleared coming back off the ankle surgery.

it appears Williams and Smith were sitting out as precautionary.

While not gaining national attention does suck for some of these athletes, that could also be a positive for them. The push for athletes to go on the shoe circuit doesn't always benefit them from what I'm starting to observe. Going under the radar also helps keep expectations realistic versus dealing with being considered a bust if they take time to develop once they make it to college.

I'll wait on my judgement on ADR until she gets in shape, as she was just cleared 10 days ago.

The danger of coming back from ankle surgery, as Paige found out the hard way, is extra stress on the knees. I very much hope that Aliyah’s doctors have alerted her to this.

I’m a fan of Jada Richard, I remember watching her drop 40 on Mikaylah Williams in HS. Not sure how much she plays this year with the depth but from all accounts reading they expect big things from her.

She benched Samiyah Smith for exhibition one but didn’t explain why the truth is Poa and Smith had a major breakup again and it began to affect the team. Poa didn’t care bc she knew she was not going to play bc of her lawsuit check her IG she’s on a beach in a swimsuit right now living it up. Mulkey I’m sorry you gots some explaining to do lesbian nonsense or not.

I fail to see how mulkey owes anyone an explanation on that. She said Poa is handling personal business even if she had a nasty breakup with a teammate, she still isn’t obliged to say anything about it. Saying Poa is handling personal business is much more than what Kim gave last year with Angel. There isn’t anymore to be said right now. Either she will join the team in the near future or she won’t

A lot of coaches are mum on players' situations even when there's personal drama going on. Why you think Mulkey has to held to a certain standard is beyond me.

I mean, this isn't just about simple NIL. This is about one of her players filing a lawsuit. I would think the head coach would want/need to know about that as it could affect her player mentally and emotionally, and spill onto the court. If she did know, all she had to say was that she is not involved and has no comment.

From Last-Tear's perspective, it must be tough these last 2.5 years watching her teammates with cars, money, fancy apartments, endless clothing and shoes, etc. Jealousy is unavoidable

Caught the LSU exhibition games on ESPN app. Richard was sneaky good. She will get minutes. Seems underrated coming out of high school albeit inferior competition but i definitely liked what I saw of her.

I struggle with the chastising when we really have no idea what's going on. It's not like I'm part of the Mulkey fan club. This just seems like a no win situation from the lawsuit, the alleged relationship drama that may be going on and who knows what else? It wouldn't matter what she said because it wouldn't appease most people on either side of the fence.

Mulkey always seems to contribute controversial remarks whenever the opportunity presents itself. It seems to work out well a lot of the time. People stop talking about her players and more about her (taking off the heat)

She kind of reminds me of Khayla Pointer, can have a similar career path
