Loved her even before she came to UCONN. Cool hand Lou! Best of luck in whatever you choose for your future. Stay healthy and be well. You're a winner.

Is anyone thinking that this decision may have some influence on Paige's

Can't say I have a clue as to whether Lou's decision to sit out this year has an influence on Paige.
Spooky action at a distance? What's our theory?

Somehow the article neglected to say why Lou is sitting out. Anyone know?

Let's see, a beautiful beach in sunny Spain or a hard bench in Dallas, assuming the new coach couldn't guarantee her more playing time than the last coach who, in my opinion, never gave her much of a chance to show what she could do. On the other hand, maybe there are just more important things to pursue in life. She was my favorite that one year she played for UCONN. I hope she fares well no matter what she decides to do.

It looks like it was on the chilly side at the beach that day. Hope Nika sees the photos and sends Lou a pair of her latest style of shoes.

Strange time to sit out with all the movement of the players in the league. Also, Lou will be missing out with playing with Paige, something she was never able to do. I wish her luck, and I'm sure she has a plan. Love this girl, was a favorite of all our fans, even though she played only one year. Don't give up Lou, you can make it in this league.

Disappointing, but I wish her the best. Will forever be grateful for her performance in the S16 loss.

Lots of factors here, I always had the impression that she was one with a wide range of choices of lifestyle with or without basketball. Multi-lingual, world traveled, great personality, etc., perhaps playing overseas (I think still recovering from an injury) instead of a unsure future in the WNBA is the right place for sweet Lou right now.
