You can read the Coach of the Year trophy while Aresco talks. It says Jose Fernandez... WTF.

Well hello Katie Lou, goodbye PoY trophy.

I am imitating my avatar right now.......................

She has earned this and lots of other good stuff that is coming her way. Foot injury, ankle issues, black eye - Lou just keeps fighting back. She has improved many aspects of her game through hard work. And leading, with her focus on the big prize, banner #12.

True but i think the UCF coach was more deserving
I agree. It was a given that USF would finish 2nd so maybe it was the OOC win against OSU that sealed it, even though it was OOC!!!!
Coach Abe accomplished much more in her short time at UCF, including this season's regular season 3rd place finish.

Do we know if it was unanimous?
It should have been!

THE BUN WON! Hopefully the first POY this year of more to come..:)

Congratulations KLS...

UCF, USF. Maybe the voters got mixed up.

Could it be that back room deal making was afoot!

And we will only see the full results in another awards ceremony? [in the background maniacal laughter fading away]

That associate conference director needs to take a few UConn Media classes to learn how to speak to an audience. She’s just brutal...

Good for Jose! If he can find a hidden gem, his Alana Beard or Gabby Williams, he could do some damage in the NCAAs.

Can the other Lou Conference POY threads be merged?

Maybe the non UConn legacy coaches got together and just said not this year. One of us is going to get it.....

Listen, view this as a lifetime achievement award. He was in the Big East and was never going to win it there, then he is in the AAC with UConn and Louisville so the first 4 years were tough. This is probably his last chance. It is ok. Coach Abe has a high trajectory and I fear she leaves either at the end of next year to a P5 underachieving school with strong WCBB lineage and an Anti-UConn bias...
