Duke up 52-43 (At SOLD OUT Rupp Arena)

Rankings will be interesting Monday.

I still think UK jumps ahead of Tennessee.

1. UCONN
2. ND
3. Duke
4. Kentucky
5. Stanford
6. Louisville
7. Tennessee

That's not the way it usually works. UTenn was ahead of KY and lost on the road to top 5 team, while KY lost at home against a team that got smacked earlier in week at home. Why would UK then go ahead of UTenn? I do not grok.

Not a good week for the SEC

The Southeastern Conference women’s college basketball teams retain their mastery of the rest of the world.

If these two teams meet in March, and KY gets their leading scorer back, Duke will lose.

Kentucky and Stanford should be flipped. KY has played the tougher schedule, IMO.

Why would Duke be ranked ahead of Notre Dame at this point?

Duke is considered to have played a tougher schedule to this point and has played three more games against top 50 teams, though they've also played four more games than ND. Bit of a toss-up there based on the records, though ND being undefeated may be the difference in the next poll. Still don't see how KY gets pushed now ahead of UTenn based on the past week's action, though I guess if you thought KY should have been ahead of the Vols last week than maybe the home loss still doesn't mean as much as the UTenn road loss.

I think

  1. UConn
  2. ND
  3. Duke
  4. Stanford
  5. Tennessee
  6. KY
  7. L'ville
