Looks like Abraham is in line to start at Georgetown.

Should be interesting to see what he does with the opportunity this year. They might not be winning as of yet but Cooley did produce two NBA draft picks last year and Abraham has the tools.

Looking forward to seeing what Abraham does with the chance.

I think he will be good. He wasn’t able to convince Hurley he is better than Ross or Stewart, so I think it’s best for everyone he moved on. All three of those players have a lot of potential. I don’t blame Hurley for giving benefit of the doubt to players who have been in the program longer and to players who have the best attitude. I hated to see him leave, but I think it was the best for all.

It would be a big change if Hurley isn't cutting the rotation to 8 by Big East play like he's done every year. And it's not even really a case of Furphy or Ross not being good enough or deserving minutes, it's that there's already a minutes crunch for the top 8 without throwing a 9th guy into the mix
Maybe, just maybe Dan Hurley will be having thoughts about playing some guys like AK 36 minutes a game. He's added weight too. Our defense was woefully inadequate
last year and Dan Hurley has made it clear that guys who cannot or will not defend and rebound will not be playing much (or as much). The best way may be bringing in fresh bodies who can stop the opponents offense instead of trying to win a scoring battle. I think this year we will see him expand that 8 man rotation to a couple of guys getting 10-12 mins. So not sure if you consider that still an 8 man with subs or 10 man.
