I'm not sure but I think Coler meant being a really dangerous team next yr ? Heck I think anyone who thinks the team RU lost to tonight is not in the mix even this year for a NC wouldn't be offtrack? No offense to "ville" but they don't have a deep enough bench IMO?

I keep wondering if she was going to SC, why wouldn't she have declared already. My feeling is that she may be leaning toward UCONN but doesn't want to deal with a lot of garbage if she declares while she is still playing HS ball.

Jessica Jackson from AR did the same thing and then committed to AR. And she apparently knew the entire that where she would go.

Good point. Just look at that Auburn football recruit who switched to Alabama on signing day. Locals have harassed him and his entire family since the decision.

The fact that she is holding out may actually be a good sign for UCONN.

This a little bit of a difference between the rivalry of Auburn-Alabama football and UConn-SC women's basketball. They are crazy about their college football in Alabama. There is a great film on this rivalry by ESPN called Roll Tide/War Eagle that shows just how nuts they are.

What I was saying is that Wilson could get a lot of heat from her town/state/peers by announcing a decision to not stay in her home state (yes - not to the degree of the Auburn player, but still potentially a good amount). That's something she probably wants to delay as long as possible, especially while her basketball season is still going on.

I figured thats what you meant because I feel the same way.....can you sense or feel it? Seems CVS is making a last run to get that evasive NC on her illustrious resume before retiring !! I feel RU will be reaching a stride next year and the following for really big thing's and most of these WBB wise UConn fan's surely won't deny that. That's why I love the WBB and CR site here on the BY so much!! Hopefully we'll get that kind of support again very soon back at the RAC. I loved the fear on opposing face's when they had to play RU at the old "Barn"....you could literally feel the building shake before you got in in the 70s/80s!!!

Yeah, its too bad esp in FB our kids don't seem to feel that level of state loyalty. The real leader types though aren't intimidated though by the pressure! I hear BS felt a lot of negative heat in Syracuse for coming here instead of Cuse !?!
