I don’t think we are being harsh enough. She should stick to the WNBA until she can at least understand the rules of the game.

Well she’s just not qualified to be calling football games at this level. There were many comments that weren’t accurate or appropriate for the play just run. She hesitated describing many plays, seemingly trying to figure out what to say, while often missing the significance of the play that just occurred. A couple times UConn got a first down and she didn’t even mention it, instead offering an insignificant cliche line about the run. Seems like a nice person and is articulate, but shouldn’t be in the booth!

There definitely are better and more capable announcers out there, who would make the game much more enjoyable. That’s the main point.
