Liberty game...TV?

Has Dan Orlovsky ever been honored at a UConn Football game? UConn Athletics should think on their toes for a last minute thing to bump attendance for game on Saturday.

i think he is working.

Our punter is slow getting the punt off. I’ve been thinking he’d be blocked a few times. Arkansas runs a punt rush scheme that’s been successful several tines this year. They just blocked Liberty. Hopefully they won’t copy it when we play Saturday.

Arkansas really looks inept, if I'm being honest. Their line looks so confused. False start penalties, missed blocks, etc. And they're still very much in this game

With the exception of 2 or 3 playmakers, it's hard to believe that the Razorbacks are 5-3 SEC team...

Wow. Arkansas missed a tying 2-point conversion by about 2 inches. Onside kick coming with about 1 minute left

Looks like Liberty will win it 21-19. They are certainly a good team, but Arkansas is certainly not one...

Liberty is lucky to win this game. Refs made a bad call on the two point conversion.

It’s her first year as a football analyst

Most often you train in the sport you’ll be broadcasting at a lower level first. Doesn’t act like that happened and doesn’t show an understanding of the game, which just compounds the issues. It’s more on the management than her that she’s doing these games and they shouldn’t have put her in this situation.

This. She doesn’t sound like she ever really watches or understands a lot of football. it’s not her fault. It is entirely the fault of whatever nut job thought that because they wanted to bring her in for hoops, that meant it was o.k. To let her call football games.

Can't believe people care that much to be honest. She does kind of suck but who cares? I'd rather have her on CBS sports than whatever the hell that was when UConn played FIU. That was unwatchable.
You can't believe people care about having someone cover the game who knows nothing about the sport? I don't think most fans who watch on TV want random people off the street who have never seen the sport covering it. It's all a part of the product

Looked like a spot on call. His knee was down and the the ball crossed the plane of the goal line as he stretched after the knee was down.
It would've been nice to have a camera angle where the ref wasn't blocking the goal line stripe. Looked to me that the tip of the ball broke the plane at same time his knee touched. As I said in another thread, one of those calls where whichever way it was called on the field would've stood because of the lack of a good replay.

My take on Liberty is they're good on offense but we can move the ball on their D. The line is strong but maybe not so quick. Turner needs to be ready to run if necessary and a few of those misdirection plays may be back for this game. The extra day for coaches and players to watch today's game is a positive. Weather looks good for a nice practice week and a cool game day at the Rent. The schedule works in our favor this week.

I think we'd be well served with the weather getting lousy later next week and a cold, rainy day in East Hartford next Saturday. Most of their rooster is from south of the Mason Dixon line. Too lazy to check but looks like they haven't played a game on grass this season, that can help the home field advantage, especially a sloppy track that slows down their speedy receivers.

While raking leaves yesterday listening to the Women's Basketball game on the radio, I heard an ad about syncing the radio play-by-play to the TV broadcast. Here it it is:

Sync My Game

I'll give it a try because Ms. McPeak is totally unlistenable on a football game. CBSSN really should have had her cut her teeth at the high school or D-III level for a couple of years before assigning her FBS broadcasts.

This should be pinned

TV announcers confirmed: McPeak, Fauira & Justin Walters.
