I was wondering that too?Who is Harris?

Yep; there's a "one last basketball check before I have to get a real job" crowd that is overpricing themselves. It’s the super seniors who have no shot at the NBA that are mercenary types.
We had All American level starting players the last two years and the split was still 25/15. With injuries it was 23/16. These two are likely going to be much closer in ability level. I'm expecting pretty close to 20/20.
I love the fact that the Simpsons invented the word cromulent and now it's in the lexicon.Roach is a perfectly cromulent player. He did take a pretty big step last season. We'd likely lose somebody if we brought him in to start at the 2.
There is a substantial gap in skill between Hoss and Johnson.
Truly don’t understand how anyone can be confident of this at this point. It’s certainly possible, but there are definitely some posters that massively overstate Samson’s ability and consistency so far in his career.Johnson is 100% starting
Not as many as those dragging the him. One guy calls him a “Low-average bench center”.there are definitely some posters that massively overstate Samson’s ability and consistency so far in his career.
100% of definitive statements made six months before the season start happen...Johnson is 100% starting
His skill set would suit the Cam role seamlessly
We're perfect for him too. If he's thinking beyond tomorrow he'll see that and realize how much his ability would be showcased on a national stage in an offense like no other, if he comes here.I’m going to be crushed if we don’t land him. He’s so freaking good
I mean there was a solid stretch of the season where that was absolutely the correct assessment. He was getting worked over on defense and was getting shut down offensively. He definitely picked up his game quite a bit the last stretch of the season, though there are still absolutely valid concerns regarding his ability to defend the post and rebound well enough to be a starter. Not as many as those dragging the him. One guy calls him a “Low-average bench center”.
You guys...I mean there was a solid stretch of the season where that was absolutely the correct assessment.
And wait till the Holyoke St. Patrick's Parade Committee gets involved and gets him commercials for Aer Lingus, for his first flight to the old sod where he can legally have his first Guinness and have it served in a Waterford crystal beer glass.........I think this is where Marc D really helps…he’s got all the social media and Corp connections
Sitting him on those bar saddles might not impress him.Wow, that's going to be really awkward when they take him there.
Maybe McNeeley asked Pope what his record is as a head coach and how many titles he's won.........View attachment 99866
Kentucky fans delusional as always. If Pope made such a big impression on him in that zoom call then why did it end without them scheduling a visit?
everyone needs to stop listening to matt jonesView attachment 99866

He hammered the hiring, now he acts like he wanted Pope all along.....everyone needs to stop listening to matt jones
I see what camp you’re in with this one.You guys...
Reel him in!I know it means absolutely nothing but there’s a McNeeley thread on Rupp Rafters (UK board) and 90% of the comments on it are saying this is UConn’s battle to lose. We can’t let him leave campus without a commitment.
This is probably true, given the lack of other planned visits.I know it means absolutely nothing but there’s a McNeeley thread on Rupp Rafters (UK board) and 90% of the comments on it are saying this is UConn’s battle to lose. We can’t let him leave campus without a commitment.
In whose favor? There is a substantial gap in skill between Hoss and Johnson.
Hoss's. Dude's going to be amazing for us.In whose favor?
That's the way I'm leaning. Looking forward to seeing how it plays out.Hoss's. Dude's going to be amazing for us.
Yes, it is highly likely that one is better than the other, even infinitesimally, and that guy will get the starter's 25-30 mpg, with the other guy getting 10-15 mpg, pending foul trouble, etc.No matter who starts, a true 20/20 center rotation is tremendously unlikely.
