2024 Recruiting: Liam McNeeley Reopens Recruitment

Reel him in. He can be our Cooper Flagg-lite....or maybe Duke needs a 5th 5 star in 2024. :p

KU was apparently in it to the very end before he originally chose Indiana. Would agree they probably have the inside track.

IU has plenty of money- He probably looked at Woodson coming back and weak roster for next year and knew it was a bad fit

He’s going to shore up Cooper’s Championship Run Next Year TitleTown. I bet SLAM and everyone is hounding him right now. HAHAHA

I want him to go to DIKE and Cling Kong to come back to us Next Year for a RUN IT BACK x3

If there is never a basketball player named "Ian" at UConn, I'll be okay with that.
Bartender at a pub? Yes. Snooker? Yes. Highland Games? Yes. UConn basketball? No.

Who wants a freshman when Hurley’s biggest talent is finding 6th year super seniors like Joey California and Yell at Clouds Cam
Cam is a 5th year, not 6th year. His sophomore year he actually only played 5 games because of an injury so this is really only his 4th year of college basketball. But I wouldn't expect you to know all that since you're not a UConn fan.

Yeah those were huge mistakes by Hurley

Every team has to "add a 0" with the NIL. Kansas didn't suddenly outspend Indiana. The kid de-committed because he didn't like the direction Indiana is heading.

Supposedly, the Indiana offense hasn't done a good job of creating 3 point shots. Kansas (or UConn) is a better fit for his game.

If the last 2 years has taught us anything, cultural fit is just as important, if not more important, than skill level. In the current team, I see two potential lottery picks diving for loose balls (clingan's dive in the Marquette game might be my favorite play of the year). We have not always seen that (ref 2006 team of prima donnas). If UConn didn't heavily pursue this kid, I would have to wonder if he would really be a good fit culturally.

Woodson basically on a one year prove it contract next year.

I'm wondering how much consideration in keeping Woodson for one more year was based on not losing McNeeley.
