Let me beat chief to it.

12pts 10rbs 4 blks 5-9 from the floor

He was nearly invisible half the game. He probably could have doubled his stat line if he was more assertive and consistent tonight.

And that's not an insult cuz the kid put up a double double in a game where he was MIA most of the night. Speaks to the potential he has.

Josh does much better after the game gets in to a flow. Someone else suggested starting Whaley and itt not a far fetched idea.

Once defenses start wearing down and players aren't as bouncy, Josh does better. Second half was multiple times better for him that was the first half.

He just needs to make decisions BEFORE he gets the ball. Read the defense, find position, get the pass and score. He thinks for 2 seconds before making a move.
This. So this. Its like he does everything 2 seconds behind lol He seems to react too slow sometimes. Like that 3 point shot near the end of the game when the buffalo player missed its like the ball hit the rim and landed right in front of Carl but by the time he reacted to it buffalo had already grabbed the rebound. Hes also got about a 5 inch vertical and cant get up to block some shots that a more athletic big would be able to get to. Thats why buffalo kept driving the lane. They'd pull Akok away then they'd attack like they weren't concerned with Carl.

It is a guards game. It is always hard for a big to get things done without getting called for charges or getting double teamed and turning it over. Josh is a decent passer. He has gained weight and is slower. He has never had huge hops. I am happy we have him and Whaley. His season will continue to trend upwards and if he can improve his free throw shooting we will be really happy.

He has gotten so, dare I say, crafty around the bucket. He’s learning to use his big body without getting called for fouls. He’s crashing the boards like crazy.

Nice 2nd half for Josh needs to quite missing those early bunnies though he's part of our slow first half issues.

T-Jones is a handful but he's taller that matchup will loom large for us. Big game for Josh tonight.

He is effective when the opponents big guys are in foul trouble and that allows him to be a bit "craftier" around the rim. When the playing field is even at the start of the game he struggles.
He was quicker afoot last season BUT he did needed to add the muscle and weight - now comes the foot speed work.
The potential is there
