Great article on Kim Mulkey but took away this reference to Coach Auriemma
And yes, is on the mark

and why not a blast from the past

I've got news for you. I went to Tech and I like Coach Barmore, but that's a common pose from ANY game when they weren't playing well. And, in my opinion, he would fit in that group of coaches he mentioned. Behind Geno, but ahead of some others.

What a great old fashioned blowout. I did not realize Paige Sauer started. She certainly did not develop as her HS rankings suggested, but it was great to see her getting PT way back then!!!

Looking at this game clip gave me a thought. If our present team was to play this 2000 UConn team, which team would win? I’m not a betting man (anymore), but I’d bet “the farm” on that 2000 team, and feel real good about myself right afterwards. ;)

Thanks for posting this flashback. I enjoyed watching it, and was reminded of the skill sets and talents of some former players, such as Kennitra Johnson (KJ), Paige Sauer, etc.
On another note, La Tech’s Cheryl Ford, who played in this game, is NBA’s All Star Karl Malone’s daughter. I’m not sure what she’s doing these days, but she and Swin Cash played together for the Detroit Shock, where they won two or three championships together.

Let’s not forget Tara! She is no slouch.

Isn’t the obvious joke to insert here is “that’s not fair, Tara is a tremendous slouch.”

Before anyone responds, just kidding.
