This. Moore said they are gonna fill those five scholarship spots so expecting starter level guys is not realistic. Most likely there's a better player in the final three but this is a practice/deep bench guy. This is consistent with what coach Moore said we were doing.
4 schools in 4 years? Clearly has character issues /s
EJ Harrison had some good minutes off the bench for UConn too when called upon.Being a bench player at UConn is good for helping players get a shot to play internationally. E.J. Harrison parlayed his bench minutes at UConn into a lucrative 15 year career in England.
I'm thinking that Koroma can bang AK and Stewie in practice and "toughen them up" a little bit. Not a bad thingDoesn't look 205lbs to me. Same size as AK and he's listed 225lbs.
I don't get it are we going to recruit possible starters or good backups ? We need another big body and a quick defensive starter. Is this the best a two time back to back national champion can do ?
Definitely. I'd also love a 3rd string C and 3rd string PG to complete the rosterWould not mind bringing in Zakai Ziegler's brother at all.
TBF, Armoni’s Tennessee brother is unavailable.Armoni Ziegler is a 6'4" SG who put us good stats as a Sophomore.

Exactly. And he came from Div. 3 Western Connecticut St. Univ. so there’s some hidden gems out there.EJ Harrison had some good minutes off the bench for UConn too when called upon.
More like Rutgers under Kevin Bannon.Yikes what kind of operation is Hurley running? What is this, Rutgers under Mike Rice?
Don't forget $$$$$Out of the blue. He probably knows his role, but he might be an opportunist waiting for an opening.
I don't buy the narrative that he'll be fine being a cheerleader. If he can play Hurley will find a situation for him. It's a crowded front line, gonna be very hard to get playing time, but I think this guy is clever.
He's hoping for a shot.

What, Laurie Fine's not available?I'm thinking that Koroma can bang AK and Stewie in practice and "toughen them up" a little bit. Not a bad thing
ONE of us areSome of us are.
Reibe can play some 4 if needed tooOur depth chart at the 4 is Alex, Stew and Koroma? Sounds like he is more like insurance at least as a rebounder. He's scoring well against D1’s and getting 7 rebounds a game. Plus he’s injury insurance? Might he get 5-8 minutes a game?
