LeMoyne transfer commits to UConn

A solid pickup, absolutely. But at 6'8" 205, he's not going to bang against Reed in practice. Still need another big.
He banged against him in game so why not in practice? See the highlights in the link. Maybe not a huge guy but plays stronger and has long arms. He was also a former Rick Pitino recruit at Iona.

A bit surprised we didn’t go after more rotation wing depth - must be really confident in Ross

Stewart or Mullins will start, the other comes off the bench (Mullins at SF/SG or Stewart as SF/PF), then the rest is Ross or Furphy
How many guys do you want to play at SF? We also have the other Ross brother. You listed 4 even before Jacob.

Koroma visited UConn on Friday 5/9 alongside fellow transfer recruit Armoni Ziegler of SaintvPeter’s.

Look like we're interested in St. Peter's guard, too.
Armoni Ziegler is a 6'4" SG who put us good stats as a Sophomore. Might be a key piece going forward at least next year. I wonder if he would red shirt if we get him this year and keep 2 years.

Thanks for sharing the video. He does look stronger on tape than I anticipated. And fairly athletic. Looks bigger than 205. I reckon 6'10" 230-240 pound guys don't grow on trees!

In the video it said he was also a former Rick Pitino recruit at Iona. That sells me that he has some talent and definitely looks like he can bang. Also, another big who is a lefty with Reibe.

Based on what Tom Moore said about roster needs (pre-Ross announcement)- Staff would still want a CG(Ziegler?) and a backup C.. I'd say its been a pretty productive week as we approach our first Summer Session. Throw in some interesting OOC Quad1 games and we're rollin'.

6-8 but only 205 (if the other sites are right). Not really a big body or banger type.

Watch the video in the link and see he was banging against Tarris Reed when he played against us and did alright. He doesn't look that small.

Doesn't look 205lbs to me. Same size as AK and he's listed 225lbs.

I'll be curious to hear from Koroma on why he committed to UConn. Same if Ziegler commits. Both would go from starters to end of the bench players.

I wonder whether some kids at this point start to panic that they'll be left out in the cold without a place to transfer to and figure UConn would be a good spot for a year to work on their game. Plus the UConn name probably could get them a better spot overseas after they're done in college.

Seems to be nice pickup for what it is. Experienced, athletic, can play offensive as 5 man in 5 out (like sanson). Is good quick defender. (Sensing high hedge option )

Seems to be reibe insurance, or Samson lite for change of pace, or a good athletic bench practice player. Win win for spot 11 or w/e

What a weird track. 3 years. 3 schools. Now 4 years, 4 different schools. And now, Heaven.

lol. Okay.

He fits the role he was recruited for perfectly.

Older guy, will be a fine practice player and we won’t need to close our eyes if we ever have to put him on the court.
I don't get it are we going to recruit possible starters or good backups ? We need another big body and a quick defensive starter. Is this the best a two time back to back national champion can do ?
