He banged against him in game so why not in practice? See the highlights in the link. Maybe not a huge guy but plays stronger and has long arms. He was also a former Rick Pitino recruit at Iona.A solid pickup, absolutely. But at 6'8" 205, he's not going to bang against Reed in practice. Still need another big.
How many guys do you want to play at SF? We also have the other Ross brother. You listed 4 even before Jacob.A bit surprised we didn’t go after more rotation wing depth - must be really confident in Ross
Stewart or Mullins will start, the other comes off the bench (Mullins at SF/SG or Stewart as SF/PF), then the rest is Ross or Furphy
Armoni Ziegler is a 6'4" SG who put us good stats as a Sophomore. Might be a key piece going forward at least next year. I wonder if he would red shirt if we get him this year and keep 2 years.Koroma visited UConn on Friday 5/9 alongside fellow transfer recruit Armoni Ziegler of SaintvPeter’s.

Look like we're interested in St. Peter's guard, too.
Thanks for sharing the video. He does look stronger on tape than I anticipated. And fairly athletic. Looks bigger than 205. I reckon 6'10" 230-240 pound guys don't grow on trees! He banged against him in game so why not in practice? See the highlights in the link. Maybe not a huge guy but plays stronger and has long arms.

In the video it said he was also a former Rick Pitino recruit at Iona. That sells me that he has some talent and definitely looks like he can bang. Also, another big who is a lefty with Reibe. Thanks for sharing the video. He does look stronger on tape than I anticipated. And fairly athletic. Looks bigger than 205. The staff is very confident in Ross. We aren't. But who cares what we think? Not us.A bit surprised we didn’t go after more rotation wing depth - must be really confident in Ross

Some of us are.The staff is very confident in Ross. We aren't. But who cares what we think? Not us.
Yes, bingo. He’s not a big body.A solid pickup, absolutely. But at 6'8" 205, he's not going to bang against Reed in practice. Still need another big.

Weird, it's almost like we still had 4 spots to fill and not all of them were centersA solid pickup, absolutely. But at 6'8" 205, he's not going to bang against Reed in practice. Still need another big.
Watch the video. He was banging against Tarris Reed. He plays bigger than listed and has good length. We might get another really tall player but I'm sure he will be purely developmental.Yes, bingo. He’s not a big body.
I was kidding. I added a winking emoji so nobody else doesn't get the sarcasm.I mean Clayton went to Florida after Iona, not LeMoyne.
I feel like that is instructive here.
Watch the video in the link and see he was banging against Tarris Reed when he played against us and did alright. He doesn't look that small.6-8 but only 205 (if the other sites are right). Not really a big body or banger type.
I'll be curious to hear from Koroma on why he committed to UConn. Same if Ziegler commits. Both would go from starters to end of the bench players.Koroma visited UConn on Friday 5/9 alongside fellow transfer recruit Armoni Ziegler of SaintvPeter’s.

I mean, obviously, but he had a nice little game against us back in November.German, I think. Also played at Iona a while back.
Purely a practice add before people start coming here and projecting him into minutes. Low major stats do not translate well.
I thought his face looked familiar.... not a bad practice player.Put up 13/5 against us and 22/8 against Notre Dame this past season.
Yes, watching the game now. Stroked an open three, good hops, decent ball handler and passer. Confident in using body positioning for dribble handoffs. Solid on defenseI mean, obviously, but he had a nice little game against us back in November.
I don't get it are we going to recruit possible starters or good backups ? We need another big body and a quick defensive starter. Is this the best a two time back to back national champion can do ?lol. Okay.
He fits the role he was recruited for perfectly.
Older guy, will be a fine practice player and we won’t need to close our eyes if we ever have to put him on the court.
