Minnesota up one late in the game, McBride gets a half step on the reigning MVP, but soon realizes that she needs a full step to keep Maya from rejecting her at the rim. Great defensive play at a crucial time.

Been watching that one play all morning; Maya deflects the lob inside on the defensive end, then sprints baseline to baseline to get the lob pass from Whalen that Maya one-timed unlike anyone playing the women's game.
