His offensive board in the championship game let us run another 35 seconds off the clock, that alone was huge in my book. Just like how Coombs-McDaniel will forever be known in my book for creating the switch for Kemba, Lasan will always be remembered for his hustle and that offensive board

Sure. We needed someone for James Young to leave all alone under the basket in the most crucial play of the entire season.

Has Niels Giffey won more National Championships than Jim Boeheim?

Watching the championship game again, one cannot say enough about Kromah's contribution offensively and defensively. One of the biggest plays (turnarounds) in the game, during the second half was his athletically amazing fight for a rebound which resulted in a jump ball possession UConn. The crowd and even the announcers thought it was a foul but I'm sorry it was all "ball". That play led to the Napier and Giffey consecutive 3s. His free throws at the end were CLUTCH.

Don't forget that big offensive rebound with about 1:50 left. That was - for me, anyway - the "hey, we won! No way Kentucky's catching us!" moment.

Kid did it all.

If you watch the play where Napier finds the open Kromah, that was a good bit of coaching. Ollie is yelling at Kromah to get away from the perimeter as Kromah starts creeping up. Kromah listens to Ollie and ends up all alone under the basket.

Dont forget Coombs got the offensive rebound to make that play happen! He made his contribution to UCONN history

Plus Run JMC was one of the best player nicknames we've had.
