I would have thought your "hard on" for Wilson would have subsided once she left the College game, but are we going to now start to try and bash every second of her pro career also. Geesh, She did not choose UConn and they were fine and so was she. Let it go
 
Am I seeing this right. Alyssa Thomas who I think is one of the most exciting players in the WNBA having a stat line after the 1st half that does not happen too often

I never said anything on this board negatively about Wilson as a player. No "hard on" here. Just pointing out what to me looks like an amusing irony.

It is a pleasure to see a WNBA team with confident and professional shooters. So often, WNBA players fire reasonably open shots that are not even close to going in.
 
I think this is Alyssa’s final stat line:

13 points
16 rebounds
6 assists
2 steals
3 blocks
0 TOs

Picking up where she left off.

Wilson’s stat line doesn’t surprise me: 14 points and 10 boards, but 3-14 shooting plus 8-10 on FTs. Like college, but tougher shooting.
 
Lindsey Allen signs with the ACES yesterday, starts at guard for the Aces today. :)

Has there ever been any discussion about delaying the beginning of the WNBA season until all the players complete their overseas commitments?

From what I have read/heard is that by the time it's ending overseas is starting back up again and we would possibly see many players leaving early. I didn't realize just how much some of the overseas teams really pay them, but it's a lot more.

They were kind if thrown together at the last minute and lost their first road game. I think they'll be better in their first home game.

Young-Wilson-Swords-Coffey-Allen is just not a WNBA-quality starting lineup. That's 4 players who are best suited to being backups plus a rookie.
