All too true. As for McHugh, his coaching was done in the '70s. No wonder he like PP. Old school ball is all he knows and he obviously doesn't see that the game has changed. Besides, McHugh made his mark at a school that recruits while most of Connecticut schools are not in that position. Thinking those wins need an asterik.

Definitely NOT true when McHugh was there at the beginning. Maybe in later years, but the big advantage was the size of region the school served (with little competition from other Catholic schools).

Was true when he made his mark. Nice to be able to recruit from all over while your opponents are force to take players from a specific geographic area. Big advantage . . . . big part of why he had some success.
