cant drive

Can’t score off the dribble

Doesn’t play defense

More likely to turn it over than score

Spot up 3pt shooter or mid/long range guy

Argues with every teammate after he makes a mistake

What's with the multiple threads, dude?

Married should be thinking about getting his MBA, don't see an N in his future.

Larrier is not the problem.
I think I disagree at this point. He's definitely a net minus in a lot of games for us. I'm not so much concerned with his shot selection as many others are, but he turns it over a lot and is definitely our worst defender in the rotation

You take good shots and go 0-16... that’s fine

You take horrendous shots, turn the ball over, yell at vulnerable freshman on a national stage, don’t play defense, and coach leaves you in... very detrimental to the program

Larrier is going to end up getting real familiar with Istanbul.

Larrier played tonight?
Yep I said the same thing in the chat room. A total disappearing act after the first 5 minutes. I mean at least he could have fought for some rebounds inside.

Sophomore Shabazz type leadership with TL... thinks he’s a star and the program is there for him to advance

Kid needs to watch Shabazz in ‘11-12 and then watch him in ‘13-14

That or leave uconn

Larrier needs to get stronger. That would solve a good amount of his issues.

I’m fine with him leaving this year to go play in Azerbaijan or wherever he thinks people will pay him to be the least athletic least hustling player on the court. We waited two years for this??

To be clear, want him to stay

But his attitude is awful. Not nearly the player he thinks he is in terms of overall skill - just a spot up shooter or off the dribble mid range guy

Would love to see him take the blame once, just once, for a turnover where he tosses a ball or gets his shot punched.

Shabazz sophomore year is best example. Unless he adjusts his attitude and approach, he won’t win any fans

It’s a simple thing. People loved Posada more than ARod in spite of the talent different because of approach

At UConn, we’ve always loved Giffey/Freeman over Dyson/Oriakhi because of their attitudes. The latter were higher rated and better players, but approach matters.

Ball is in Terry’s court

Very much part of it. Your big scorer can't create a shot and when in trouble can't pass, never mind pass proactively. And his defense is not the best and his rebounding can be better. But hey, it's not at all on him since he;s thinking of leaving after this year...
