Lady Vols, did not bring in bench even late in game, but, continued to run up the score, 102-57. Was this some sort of pay back? Whats up?

Not sure where you are getting this from? TN played the bench a lot. The last part of the game they played with 4 bench players and one starter since Carter was hurt and Jasmine Phillips wasn't available. Simmons played a lot of minutes because we were short on guards and she was having a career night. Starters Burdick 25 mins, Graves 25 mins, Harrison 26 mins, Simmons 35 mins, Massingale 30 mins. 9 players were available after Carter was injured in the first half. Bench played 59 minutes

UConn routed UNC by an even bigger margin last year.

Bench played 8 minutes more than Tennessee's did this year. Not a huge difference.

As I recall, Hatchell grumbled (in slightly veiled fashion) about the score in the UConn win. Don't know what she had to say about this one.

In a game like this where all her team mates are involved shooting that much isnt so bad. Its when she does it in games when her team mates arent involved. IMO its lack of disipline. Yeah she may have had the hot hand but in many of the other games she didnt and kept shooting. What many teams in WCBB havent learned is BB is a team game and getting everybody involved not giving the ball to your start and letting her shoot the ball and not pass it. One of the greatest things about Diana is she chose to pass the ball and get everyone else involved. When Geno wanted her to shoot more and get the scoring record at UConn she said she'd rather have the assist record. IMO one of the reasons UConn won it all after TASS left was because Diana led the team by making them a team and not shooting the ball every time she touched it which she couldve done. JMO

My mistake, maybe it just seemed like starters, since UNC did not play defense. Tennessee deserves a win, now and then........:)

It seems to me that UNC often is an All-American underachiever. The question is whether the influx of high calibre talent coming in next year will change that in the slightest.
