Really much better than several of the ESPN regulars. I'm becoming a big fan.
 
She really is great. No offense to Meagan but LaChina just has much better flow. I think she also makes Bob better. They work well together.
 
She also calls the games for the Atlanta Dream.

I have always admired her play by play!

TOTALLY GREAT on all points...

Im guessing cause she's not sooo personal with UConn like MPC is.
 
Definitely prefer LaChina over Meghan and Abby Wanner.

Great commentator. Easy to listen to but extremely knowledgeable. Made Bob sound better too!!!!
 
Yup - really enjoyed it - I agree about Bob as well, but I think part of that is just due to the freshness of the interaction. Bob and Meagan have worked so many games together, that neither has anything new to feed off of.
 
The first time I've heard her call a game and I was impressed. She screwed up when she interviewed Auriemma though. It looked like he was talking to her . She needs to take a cue from Lobo.
 
LaChina graduated from my local school, T.C. Williams (made famous in Denzel Washington's "Remember the Titans") in 1998.

She has 16 brothers and sisters and appears to have done very well for herself.
 
If my college Italian serves me, I believe LaChina is Italiano for "The China."

If SNY wins the bidding for next seasons contract they would be a very good team.
 
Her play by play was ok, but not great, and in the Geno interview, she referred to 'the many assets of KML's game', when she obviously meant facets, so I'd guess she wasn't an English major...JMHO.
 
She spoke way to fast and her knowledge of the team character was superficial. She is no great shakes and certainly does not match the "juice" that Meghan brings to the color slot.

I thought she meant aspects. I think it was simply a brain fart and nothing more. Thought she did a fine job overall.

She did a good job and it was good to see Bob again.

I thought Lachina was terrific. She offered great insight into the players as opposed to always the Geno slant ( what would Geno be thinking, etc). Loved her comments on Tiffany. Also she seemed to have studied her assignment previously by watching at least the last 2 UConn games. Really enjoyed her. I think I will now email the Big East and SNY and offer my comments. Also agree with the people that mentioned she actually made Bob sound much much better. Some times he lulls me to sleep. Great telecast.
 
LaChina also had a comment praising Moriah Jefferson's D. If she's right about that, we could see MJ in the rotation early.
