Before the season started, did anyone expect that Kromah would be the second best player on the team? What a huge get that was.

He's definitely a huge get but Giffey is better and Boat is at least equal, being to offense what Kromah is to defense. If Kromah can start knocking down some threes against better teams I'm right there with your opinion. Hyperthink looking like a genius at this point

I'd like to see more consistent FT shooting by Kromah but other than that he's been a great surprise. I just hope we don't have to sit through another game where he's consistently called kroMAH

I think he has been the only one who comes in every night and gives great effort for the entire 40. There have been times when he leaves his man to double or try for a steal and his man is wide open for a three but definitely a huge get for us and should be huge the rest of the year. Doesn't make the smartest play 100% of the time but you can't knock the hustle.

He is very active, but his shooting accuracy is abysmal.

I wouldn't call 50% from the field and 36% from three abysmal, not even close. Are we watching the same player?

He is very close to the 2nd best player….he plays better defense than Giffey and MUCH better defense than Boat…..there's an argument for 2nd best player no doubt!

I think his three will come back. at gw he used to have spurts where he would just go lights out i.e. 6 in one half against navy. would like to see ollie create plays for him to penetrate. i think thats when he's at his best in this offense. also would like to see boatright stop looking him off and share th ball. he's not making the nba as a two guard so he should show some pg skills or he may not make it at all. i thought he was better than boa all around but with all the stuff i was saying before i was even hesitant to say that. numbers get skewed when u play 30+ min with a green light. whut happened to bazz today??

In my mind he makes up for the lack of Omar this year with the added bonus of much better defense.
That brings us to what else are the Huskies missing?
Start with a lesser version of DD, that is a big piece and an overall lack of heart and desire - at least last year we had a chip on our shoulders

The center position is much worse than last year. At this time a year ago, DD was doing pretty much the same as he is doing now. Also think OC was scoring more than NG replaced.

I think Kromah has been a pleasant surprise. The D has been very good and the energy is always there. I agree on the free throws. Hittin' something like 50% which would be a liability during crunch time and UC in the bonus. I like his aggressiveness to the hole. Not always successful, but he's trying. Would like to see Giffey take it to the hole more. Ditto Calhoun. If you can't hit ffrom the outside, find another way.
Would doing more zone on D help given our lack of size? Might keep the centers from getting into such quick foul trouble.

This is not a good thing. If Komah is playing like the 2nd best player on the team, that means DD/Boat/Giffey and perhaps OC aren't playing as we hoped they would.
