I know better to not feed trolls, but is this what you cling to FriarJ?

We had Bazz and Boat at the time. Know your full history first before bashing our recruitment efforts.

Second - worry about your own staff on the trail. Losing recruits to Towson? What will you ever do once Dunn leaves the nest?

EcO

The main and only selling point with PC right now is playing time. "Hey our roster sucks, you can play 40 minutes if you want."

I also feel badly for Dunn, he misses two seasons due to injury and in his first healthy season he shows what a great player he is, decides to turn down the NBA and come back only to have his starting center decide to transfer in the offseason. Anyways he's a great kid from Connecticut, a great player and I'm rooting for him to have a big season this year and beyond in the NBA.

I feel bad for Dunn. It is sad that such a great player will likey never experience the thrill of winning an NCAA Tournament game.
Just like Danny Hurley at URI

It was joke, and I'm sorry you are like a moth to a flame.

Also the kid that chose Towson destroyed his ACL and MCL and won't be playing for over a year.

Live it up. This is a once a generation thrill for you guys.
Actually I don't think we have ever had a pre-season player of the year. So it's once in a lifetime, get your damn insults straight!

This isn't a real POY. It is from one of those preseason college basketball rags.

A rag? have you ever gotten your hands on one of these rags? Far and away the most respected publication in college basketball media.

Blue Ribbon is the bible of college hoops, if you are getting a print publication for college hoops you get Blue Ribbon.

I can handle it.

It's always seemed to me that the question is less "can you handle it" and more "do the people who come to this UConn board as UConn fans have to deal with it."

Seriously, I don't have any particular animus toward PC, but you've got your own board, you at least purport to be a major basketball program, so is it the absence of an audience on the PC board, or overwhelming insecurity that causes you to start these threads that rarely end well? Not trying to get into something here, but who cares if "you can take it" when you're the interloper posting stuff that UConn fans have no particular interest in.

I can't figure out who is being more foolish. Is it the ones who come here to flame or is it the ones who are unable to ignore the flame? Or is it the ones insisting on banning people? Or is it those that try to inform people what is the best way of dealing with these situations such as moi?

What I do know is that these things repeat over and over in the same manner. The antigen appears. Several types of antibodies rush out to attack the antigen. But the antigen persists. So the blood cells appeal to the brain to filter out the antigen. And the brain says apply the filter to yourself, the antigen is just harmlessly floating through the vessels and it's your reaction causing the damage. Ignore it and you won't have an autoimmune response. Funny thing is we keep getting autoimmune responses.

I would wager most Boneyarders don't engage in these threads. Some are probably even amused by it all.

Can you recommend a good physician?

Anyway its good to return player recognition to another Northeast school besides UConn.

I have no problem sharing the wealth, we certainly have enough of it.

I can tell you who the most insufferable is. While I appreciate the moralizing, I was asking him a question, not you. And it was a pretty measured one, at that, so you're a little overzealous on this one.

We blew it with Dunn. We took Calhoun, cooled on Dunn. Chose poorly. It happens. Let Friar gloat, doesn't happen to PC too much.

There are 2 points to this, one is he is from Connecticut many here follow his career and a coach compared him or at least his impact to Kemba Walker.

The other point is Scote poked a bit and I poked back, no gloating just fun. Some of you need to get over yourselves, this is just not the kind of thing that should draw too much against among you.

I generally like you, and don't think you're a troll along the lines of that guy sean that used to post here. But c'mon dude, don't tell me you posted this here because he's from Connecticut, or because there was a Kemba reference. Everyone here knows why you posted it. And that's fine! Us UConn fans (myself included) liked Calhoun and were happy we took him over Dunn. We were wrong. Enjoy your tweaking, but don't pretend we're dumb.

Dunn needs to get his TOs under control to come lose to Kemba in college. I love the kid, but it's a huge problem.
