I remember reading that tai chi extended Chief's career with the Celtics. That’s the answer I was hoping for.
I think at this point the staff is looking to create a feeling of FOMO for the remaining recruits on the board as it relates to our program. Try to encourage some faster decision making than originally planned.Kofi and Precious, just waiting out this fall visiting schedule with no sense of urgency... I kind of respect it. Officials get a lot harder to take once the seasons start, though.
Not sure why Kofi has not narrowed his list or started to create official visits. Oak Hill typically likes their kids to have made a decision before the start of their season. I am not sure how to read the radio silence.
If that is the case and he doesn't consider UConn a big boy then I hope he isn't planning a major in history.Guess it's what other people have put forth on here: he wants offers from the big boys--Duke, UK, Kansas et al. The wider and slower he keeps his recruitment, the longer the door is open for that to happen.
Kofi literally called UConn a blue blood program last month. People are grasping at straws simply because of the fact that his visit dates haven't been announced. There is no reason to go down that rabbit hole.
I think Kofi's visits will be announced sometime in the next week or two. I don't think he waits until the spring to commit. Wahab visiting doesn't mean he's suddenly more of a priority than Kofi. Wahab is a Pitt lean anyway.I do agree with you, but no visits set would indicate that he will wait till the spring which is not ideal for UConn, and that is why I think we are stepping up our pursuit of Wahab.

Many times on the Boneyard. You must be a casual reader.Pitt is much easier competition than Kofi's list. The staff has seen Wahab multiple times during this past open period. Have they been in to see Kofi? I havent seen it reported anywhere.

With Syracuse just getting a commitment from a shot-blocking center Ajak, it is looking a lot better for us.
I guess you know his top 8 better than he does. Why didn't he make it a top 7 then?Kofi was never going to Syracuse

Regardless of his rank he still takes up a scholarship, which is one less Syracuse has to offer. I think them not having a scholarship to offer him will scare him away. And even if he was considering Syracuse, there is no way a 350 ranked prospect will scare him away.
If Capel has a Zion sized money bag for him, he might consider it.“The recruitment of top-30 center Kofi Cockburn
is a bit muddied at the current moment and while he cut his school list last week, no visits have been scheduled. However, Pitt did make the list and continues to make a push for the big man, and head coach Jeff Capel was in to see Cockburn as recently as two weeks ago.”

Illinois had one of the greatest teams of all time in the very late 80's. Kendall Gill, Nick Anderson, Marcus Liberty, Kenny Battle.Ok...

Rounding to the nearest 40, of course. Lawyer math.Try the math again.
Knew this was coming. Skipped the late 80’s part and just did 80- 2020. Still the same as none of these kids know those players or that teamTry the math again.
I don't know about "muddied", but it does seem like it's moving at a glacial pace.“The recruitment of top-30 center Kofi Cockburn
