This would be worth a BY GoFundMe NIL campaign. That fan base would never get over it.Oh God, the meltdown from Cuse fans if Melo's son committed to UConn would be legendary.
Growing up? He was 6 or 7 years old when we joined the AACThe kid must be trolling right? We’re the one school he probably disliked growing up?
We’re still UConn though? It’s not like Cuse fans stopped disliking us in the American?Growing up? He was 6 or 7 years old when we joined the AAC
Why?Get Kiyan to commit and if we ever lose one of our assistant coaches, then bring in Gerry Mac.
The flaw is assuming he's a Cuse fanWe’re still UConn though? It’s not like Cuse fans stopped disliking us in the American?
I’m not even sure melo is a cuse fan lmaoThe flaw is assuming he's a Cuse fan
I think I’ve read that he was growing up. But either way it’s obviously the safer assumption. The flaw is assuming he's a Cuse fan
I mean maybe after how they forced Jim out there’s some sour feelings, but I really doubt he cares that much.I’m not even sure melo is a cuse fan lmao
I really don't think it's a safe assumption at all. None of our former players kids have given UConn any preferential treatment, and they certainly haven't excluded any of UConn's rivals. Athletes do not view sports rivalries remotely similar to how fans doI think I’ve read that he was growing up. But either way it’s obviously the safer assumption.

Why?
To crush their spirit? It’s not enough to merely be pro UConn. We should also aim to be anti Syracuse IMO.Why?
Yeah that's where Ross played last year. His younger brother Jacob is still there as well who we've been connected toOh my goodness I would love if we take him just because of how funny it would be
Just googled him and it looks like he goes to LI Lutheran. Isn’t that where Ross plays?

I think Melo is more synonymous with Cuse than any of our players are with UConn. Kemba may be the only exception.I really don't think it's a safe assumption at all. His interview when he got the offer wasn't anything special, it's mostly just talk about how it would be cool to continue his dad's legacy but it doesn't come across as a huge Syracuse lean

Because they have one chip and he's the only reason. He's like Jeebus up there. Kemba is a god but he's just one in the pantheon.I think Melo is more synonymous with Cuse than any of our players are with UConn. Kemba may be the only exception.

He did only go there for one year. It’s quite possible he means way more to the fan base than Syracuse means to him.I’m not even sure melo is a cuse fan lmao
