ate once at Ocean House 10-12 years ago, before they closed for renovation/remodeling, but it was a great "oldtime" place to have a meal, very high ceilings, huge windows- gorgeous-- (unless they changed/modernized all that) -and believe great view of ocean...... and dont forget your local casinos are nearby !!! Mohegan Sun is much newer, bigger, cleaner and better for me... food at Shelter Harbor was always great- recall especially the soups... great bar area, great outside/porched area (too cold now?) ...

Ocean house was totally remodeled. Under new managent. Looks great. Prices even higher than the old place. Food still is very good.

I see on Ocean House website entrees are about $37-40..... ouch.... looks like "back to Mystic Pizza "....(wonder if Julia Roberts still works there.... ??) ....
of course Mohegan Sun has great choice of food, some pricey, but most worth it- Tuscany (large choice menu) , and Bobby Flay's Bar Americain (shorter menu) ...

Speaking of Mystic Pizza, Zack's in Stonington was the place where the bar/pool game was filmed. Good food at reasonable prices. Highly recommended

I'm amazed that 40 years later, the Mews is still there. Just out of college and in my first job, I, along with my coworkers, discovered the world of late-night roast beef sandwiches at the Mews. My recollection of the area is dated, if course, but Boneyarders who are attending who have not seen the Narraganzsett shore really should take the drive.
