Don't forget about a day trip to Newport or Block Island (via ferry from Pt. Judith) on Monday!

And while waiting for the Block Island ferry, Champlin's Seafood Deck used to be a favorite.

If it's a nice day, I recommend renting bikes on BI to explore. One of my favorite summer memories:)

You bet! And end the day at Ballard's, drinking beer and eating steamers before heading back to the mainland on the ferry.

My family used to go to BI each summer for a week. My wife and I went back for a long weekend four or five years ago and had a great time. It is one of my favorite places to this day.

Are there any seats available for the 2 games? Also where are those who are going staying?
Anyone staying in suites or such with multiple BRs I would really appreciate it if anyone contacts me
here or iming me on here? Do all of you know you can do that:)

It was reported last week that all the teams will be staying at hotels in either Newport or Warwick (home of TF Green Airport).
Is Geno trying to reserve the Breakers for team lodging? :)

No, he's trying to reserve the living room for practice sessions. IIRC, it's just about big enough, and high enough.

I live in Westerly, RI. Can recommend the Shelter Habor Inn on Rt 1 for dinner. 25 minutes from the Ryan Center but worth the drive if you like great food. The Seafood Puff Pastry has been on the menu for 20 plus years. Their Sword Fish is always perfect!

Does anyone know which hotels the team is staying in?
Nope. For UConn, not sure if they will stay in R.I. or not. My guess would be the Westin, Marriott, or Renaissance in Providence. Maybe the Hyatt in Newport.

FYI, when I was at the Stamford Marriott last week, they told me that Princeton had stayed there over the weekend.

How about recommending your place? Just kidding, of course. My brother lives in Westerly, too, but his house is full up with his daughter's family who flew in today from Oregon to accommodate me. I'm only coming in from Wisconsin!

If you are going to be in Westerly for a few days, give the Shelter Habor Inn a try. Ocean House is way overpriced. Skip it unless you want to overpay just for the view. Casey's in Wakefield is OK for a decent priced meal.
Go Huskies!
