LSU wants nothing to do with UConn. They are however going to travel to Connecticut this year to compete; who did they schedule?

Is it Central Connecticut?

Geno & Kim both have an undeniable edge to them. But surprisingly, they have always seemed to get along well, despite some fiercely contested matchups between their respective teams. There is clearly a level of respect present between two longtime coaches who are still coaching at the very highest level after many years.

Geno has always had a bit of a leaning to pontification. That characteristic does not tend to diminish with age. It's easy to abide in championship years and the afterglow year. Looking forward to that.

Found GA comments regarding the WNBA to be very astute
Adding to the roster to 12 player is the same as an expansion team and does not dilute the product

Completely agree, with his comments regarding the physical nature of the WNBA and the stupidity of reveling in it
Physical play in the WNBA resembles NBA in the 80s fans especially newcomers
Want to see offense
That’s why the NFL change their rules to help the offense and why the NBA has curbed the over the top physical play an scoring is way up in the game has never been more popular

Didn’t find any Kim Mulkey comments to be particularly interesting or memorable

Pretty good conversation. Both coaches brought a lot to the conversation. The WNBA has always been physical, just ask Rebecca Lobo. Her first season, it was not easy for her or any player for that matter out there. Their take on the transfer portal was a bit much. Folks have always transferred from college to college. Just now with so much coverage, it has been a focal point. I am glad that they, and other coaches, are not changing the way they coach and approach the game.

The rise of the WNBA is because of a host of factors. Caitlin and Reese are apart of those factors but the coaches were right. The game is going to evolve because of social media and more games/programs are getting that airspace. Decades ago, those of us that have been followin the game a long time, programs like the Lady Vols got the attention on TV, especially on the national media side of things. A lot really depended on your area. For me in the Midwest (Minnesota) we got the Lady Vols on TV and the Gophers on radio. Never a TV game.

The WNBA is only going to get better and will be forced to expand their teams because of the likes of Clark, Reese, Juju, Paige, A'ja, Aliyah, and so many other players currently on rosters and those talented players that are in college and on these high school teams. A wealth of talent is on the horizon and the WNBA is only going to get better and grow. But this was a great conversation. I love listening to those two coaching greats.

Another video from the same event, appears to be the full 55 minute interview

Excellent. I love these long-form interviews with Geno, and, as much as Mulkey gets on my nerves on the sidelines, I find her thoughtful and, dare I say it, even wise in this type of setting. There's a lot of basketball knowledge on that stage, and their takes on the state of the modern game are well worth your time.

Very enjoyable listening to the two of them . Geno is the goat but Kim with 4 championships you have to admire too

I very much enjoyed this. In addition to Geno and Kim, I thought the moderator also did a great job. By chance, anyone know who she is?

I watch the WNBA because it looks like 80's hoop. I never watch the NBA anymore. We need one league that has inside play.
