Sarah because this was her first NCAA tournament and she played like a veteran....as we have come to expect. The only surprise was that she was not credited with a steal, but a double double and 5 blocks, WOW!!

Her steals and assist really tops off her stat line, I thk tht her points should always be somewhat close to wht she had today tbh

Until today I’ve nominated Caroline as BA if she entered the game. Though about it, but I kept seeing Ash’s smiling face after scoring or forcing a turnover.

I have to go with Azzi, she did everything well today. In 22 minutes of play 27 pts, with 10-13, 6-9 from 3, 1-1 ft, 1 rbd, 7 asts, 6 stls, 2 blks, with 0 & 0 on t/o's and fouls.

IMO all 3 choices (Azzi, Sarah and Ash) are deserving of the BA award. I'll go with Sarah as for her 1st NCAA tournament she did everything amazingly (Offense, defense, scoring, rebounding, blocks)...Amazing!

Azzi was player of the game.

Nice contributions from Ash, Chen, Aubs and Caroline - back in true game action.

Sarah's shotgun snap to QB Paige for the bomb to Chen.

Don't see that much, and Sarah gets a hockey assist.

Can't go wrong with any of the above choices. For me though it's Azzi. She had to have some butterflies considering this is her first tournament game in almost two years. If she plays with this much confidence and joy moving forward the Huskies can go a long way, maybe all the way.

This is one of the few games I'd almost consider giving the award to Paige since she did so much the stats didn't capture. And Sarah's all around awesomeness is worthy too. And Ash is also a tempting recipient. But I think Caroline is also worthy for fighting her way back onto the court, playing well and even leading. This is why my nominee badass is...
