I was tempted to give it to KK or Blanca, but I think Ash deserves it more with this line: 2 pts, 7 rebounds 5 assists 1 steal and a +/- of 39. And every one of those plays was totally scrappy. Classic Ash.
I'm with you. ASHLYNN was all over the floor like it was her job to defend against every body. GO ASH!!!!! GO HUSKIES!!!!!!

And she lost a handful more potential assist when people didn't finish.

holding Bascoe to 8 points was the big key to the first half lead. she was a non factor after the first half. think
she has a pretty high ppg average and may lead the team. KK did most of the dirty work but she got doubled on almost every play! just incredable D !

My vote is for Shade. What I noticed tonight is how many times Nova had turnovers when Shade was right there. No credit for a steal, but very definitely helped create it by either being part of a trap, in a passing lane, denying the player's vision. . .

With 13 points on 5-6, 1-2, 2-3 with 7 assists and 4 steals in 22 minutes, do I really have to . . .

. . . unmask my winner?

I’m going with Sarah Strong. She is just dominating! Blocks where she swatted the ball into the crowd, stealing it away time and time again, scored a couple times 🤪

But, have to say #13 on the blue team was somehow able to block Sarah under the bucket on like 3 occasions. That was pretty bad ass in her own rites! To do that once is so rare, and yet this kid was able to get Sarah on multiple occasions?
